Creative Card Crew DT

Good Morning & a Happy Tuesday to you. It's time for another Creative Card Crew challenge. Our theme for you over the coming fortnight is

HUMOUR

Something a little different from me today as this isn't the kind of cutesy image I normally go for. I love the sentiment that goes with the image. I not sure who I would send it to, but I know my hubby would say it's definitely appropriate for me, LOL! She's coloured with Prismas & the papers are Echo Park - Springtime.

The fabulous people at Bugaboo, who provided my image are also sponsoring our challenge this time around. What more incentive do you need to play along with us. Check out the Creative Card Crew blog for more wonderful inspiration from my fellow D-Teamies.

I used the fab sketch at Sketch Saturday for my layout for this.

'Anything Goes' once again at Alllsorts Challenge too.

Well it's back to work for me then today :~( but that means it's only a 4 day week, Yippee! Hope you all are having a great week.

Thanks so much for looking.

Monday 27 February 2012

I can't believe Monday always comes around so fast, but today's a good one as I've taken the day off work & it's time for a new challenge at Sketch N Stash - Yippee!

This week we are sponsored by The Paper Shelter & I have used one of their gorgeous images for this card. She's coloured with Prismas & the papers are Echo Park - Springtime. The flowers were cut with a Martha Stewart border punch & added a bird charm from Bunny Zoes to finish it off.

This is my wonderful D-Teamie, Jill's fabulous sketch for you to follow. Nice & straight forward, just how I like them!

I hope you'll play along this week for a chance to win a $20 gift Certificate to spend at The Paper Shelter. Please pop on over to the Sketch N Stash blog to see the fabulous inspiration of the SNS DT.

Secret Crafter's Saturday Challenge DT

Good Morning & 'Huzzah!' for another weekend! Time for another challenge at Secret Crafter's Saturday Challenge. This week our theme is

WHITE ON WHITE

I must admit ot always feeling a certain amount of dread when I see a theme like this. I always doubt my ability to make elegant cards & WOW always implies elegance to me. Having said that therefore, I am always surprised & happy with the results I get as I love the effect of white on white.
For this card I used another Tiddly Inks image. Still loving these little cuties! She's coloures with Prismas & the die cuts are all Doo Hickeys except the smallest flower which is a punch.

I'm also entering this in the Tiddly Inks challenge. I hope there is enough twinkle in the gems & the glitter on the wings to qualify for their 'Sparkle it Up' challenge.

At Cute Card Thursday, the theme is 'Winged Things'.

So now it's time to pop on over to the Secret Crafter's Saturday Challenge where I hope you'll play along with us this week. Our sponsor is Heather's Hobbie Haven, where our lucky winner will get a whopping $15 voucher!

I'm looking forward to a fun weekend. It's my birthday today & my sister is over with my gorgeous niece & nephew, though Mattias, poor poppet has chickenpox. The little man seems to be suffering a fair bit.

Well that's all for now. Whatever you are up to, have a great weekend.

Thanks so much for looking,

Secret Crafter's Saturday Challenge DT

Good Morning, welcome to the weekend & another fab challenge at Secret Crafter's Saturday Challenge. This week it is the wonderful Janet's turn to choose our theme. She wants you all to join for a game of

BINGO

I've used another Tiddly Ink for this one. Expect to see a lot more of these, they are my fave right now! She's coloured with Prismas & the papers are Prima-Fairy Flora. Love these too! I wish I hadn't bothered to emboss the burgundy strip in retrospect, but I always love the Doo Hickey dies.

Here's the bingo card for your perusal. Check out the fabulous creations of my wonderful D-Teamies at Secret Crafter's Saturday Challenge to see what they made of it.

Play along with us this week & you also stand a chance of winning a fab prize donated by our lovely sponsors, The Stamping Boutique

I am also entering this card at Cute Card Thursday, where the challenge is 'Flower Power'.

They are still 'Free & Easy' at Allsorts Challenge too.

I'm now in Clitheroe, reunited with my gorgeous boys after 5 days of 'freedom' for me & Paul & 'holiday' for them. I'm not sure how my Mum & Dad, who have been looking after the boys over half term, refer to it! Whatever you are up to this weekend, I hope you have fun dong it.

Thanks so much for looking.

Divas By Design DT

Oh my what a busy week! My forth card in 5 days! This is the card I made for my hubby for Valentine's Day, which is based on our new challenge at Divas By Design this week., which is

WINGS AND THINGS

Since we got a new printer, I've been able to explore digi images a bit more & I've fallen in love with Tiddlyinks. This one is coloured with Prismas & the papers are by Magniolia. The butterfly is a Marianne Design die.

I just love this image & the sentiment is from the Whimsey stamps Valentine's set. It just says it all perfectly.
We are sponsored this week by Delicious Doodles

Another Banner, but more elegant!

So hop on over to the Divas By Design blog to see the gorgeous creations of my fellow D-Teamies.

There are also lots of Valentines challenges, (most of which I have missed, LOL!) I would like to enter this into. 'LURVE!' is the name of the game at Totally Gorjuss.

Big Waves to my old friends at Crafts 4 Eternity where I have used their raspberry flavoured colour scheme.
I hope everyone had a lovely Valentine's Day
Thankjs so much for looking.

Creative Card Crew DT

Happy Valentines Day one & all! I'll show you the card I made for my hubby tomorrow, because today we have a new challenge at Creative Card Crew. It's the one we all dread, LOL!

MASCULINE CARDS

Grown up male cards are absolutely the hardest to find inspiration for I always think, but with 2 young boys to cater for, I do have a supply of images for them. This is from the Kraftin Kimmie Snips & Snails set. The papers are parcel paper & from a pad I got free with a magazine. I dusted off my Promarkers for a change for this one. They have not had much of a look in of late.

I hope you'll pop on over to the Creative Card Crew blog to see the fabulous inspiration of my fellow D-Teamies. This week we're sponsored by the wonderful Simon Says Stamp, who are offering our lucky winner a $20 voucher to spend instore

I am also entering this at Allsorts Challenge where they are hanging 'Free & Easy'.

So I'm off to work now, but as the boys are at my Mum & Dads, we'll be having a nice romantic evening, I hope tonight! Has anyone got anything special planned? I hope you all have a wonderful day.

Thanks so much for looking.

Secret Crafter's Saturday Challenge DT

Hey, Hey for the weekend! Time for another fab challenge at Secret Crafter's Saturday Challenge. This week our theme has been chosen by lovely Jane. She wants to see a colour scheme of

BLACK & RED WITH TEXTURE

I've been biding my time before I inked this image up & now that I have I just love her! She's called Gossmere & is by Christy Croll for Stamping Bella, available at Quixotic Paperie. She's coloured with Distress Inks & the paper is Magnolia. You can just see the embossed paper under the ribbon. The flower was created with a Spellbinders die.

I used the fab sketch at Quixotic Paperie for my layout.

At Papertake Weekly, 'Anything Goes'.

I hope you'll now hop on over to the Secret Crafter's Saturday Challenge blog to see the wonderful inspiration of my fabulous D-Teamies. I think we all had fun with this one. We are sponsored this week by the lovely people at the Digi Doodle Shop. They will give a $10 voucher to this week's lucky winner.

So I hope everyone in the UK at least is dealing with the cold OK. I'm getting a bit fed up with it now, especially as we've not had any proper snow here. I'd love to build a snowman with the boys, or more likely, on my own while the boys stay warm & watch, LOL! This cold weather is no fun if there's no snow!

Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Thanks so much for looking,

Secret Crafters Saturday Challenge DT

It's the weekend! Oooh I love it so! Time for another fab challenge at Secret Crafter's Saturday Challenge. This time around it's lovely Helen's turn to choose our theme & she has gone for

HUGS & KISSES

I have the perfect sentiment for this challenge from Bildmalarna, so I thought I'd use another Bildmalarna image to sit with it. This was going to be my Valentine's card for my fabulous hubbie until Jack said he didn't like the image. Though he did say it looked a lot better once it was on the card! It's coloured with Prismas & looks a little washed out in artificial light. It's much nicer IRL. The heart is a wooden embellishment with lashing of Candy Cane Stickles. The papers are Memory Box - Brioche.

I am also entering this at Truly Scrumptious, where the theme is 'Love & Hearts'

This week at Secret Crafter's Saturday Challenge we are sponsored by Crafter's Companion, who are generously giving our winner a £10 voucher to spend at their fabulous store!

So what are you doing this weekend? I'm hoping to fit in a trip to the gym before it starts snowing! Then, I plan to drag the kids outside, kicking & screaming no doubt, to help me build a snowman. I'm not sure who is the biggest kid in this household sometimes, LOL!!

Whatever you are up to, have a wonderful weekend & keep warm!

Big Hugs,
Andie xx
