What a day! Did not get chance to schedule this post, but I did not think it would be this time before I got chance to post these cards. We've got another fab challenge at Crafts 4 Eternity this week, where our lovely sponsor is Crafty Sentiments. In addition to using the sketch we have a colour theme of silver & blue. Perfect for snowflakes!
I used Angel Tilda that my fabulous friend, Dena, bought at the NEC, but I just had to take a sample, because she's so gorgeous! She's coloured with Promarkers & the papers are Tim Holtz Vintage Shabby. The siver paper is embossed with a Cuttlebug folder & the sentiment is from Lili of the Valley.
I'm also entering this card at A Spoonfull of Sugar where the challenge is 'distressing', & at Wild Orchid Crafts where the theme is 'Blue Christmas'.
I also wanted to show you the card I made for my hubby's birthday this week. It didn't turn out as masculine as I'd intended, but I think he liked the pretty lady! Obviously it reminded him of me, LOL! I wish!!!
She's coloured with Promarkers again & the papers are Fancy Pants - Free Spirit. I used some suede look thread to make it a bit more manly, but it didn't really work in that regard. The charm, I think, was from Quixotic Paperie. The sentiment is computer generated.
So this is my entry for this weeks Kraftin Kimmie challenge. I almost forgot to enter, duh!
Please pop on over & join us at the Crafts 4 Eternity challenge this week.
Hope everyone has a great weekend ahead.
Thanks so much for looking.
Big Hugs,
Andie xx
