Passion For Promarkers - Numbers!

Tuesday once again & we have another fab challenge for you at Passion for Promarkers. It's Denise's turn to through down the gauntlet & she asks that, this week, you include numbers on your card. That may be in the image, your embellishments or design papers. You may have a friend of family member who does not want their age advertising. This would be the perfect opportunity to embarass them, LOL!

To spur you on yet further, the lovely Karen at Sugar Nellie has generously donated this week's fabulous prize!

I have to say, I had a lot of fun with this week's challenge. The numbers thing was not inspiring me at first until I found this DP from Basic Grey - Oh Baby Boy! After that, things came together nicely. I downloaded this Mo Manning image ages ago & this is the first time I have coloured it. I used so many pens I can't possibly list them all, but please contact me if you want to know more. This is not the weather for this image. I was nearly sweating colouring in his jumper!

I did have a bit of a disaster with this however, I decided to distress the image a little to fill the big empty space on the LHS. Let's just say my technique left a lot to be desired & it looked awful. Scissors in hand I bravely set about hacking away, which was fine until I got to the flowers. I got a little stressed at that point & nearly cut the flower pot out altogether!

The rest of the card is quite simple. The circle date stamp from Catslife Press fits the numbers theme well. It was all really well planned & thought through. Actually it was an afterthought to fill the gap, but I'm pleased with how it came out! I hope you'll now check out the superb creations of my fellow PFP D Teamies. They are excelling themselves week on week.

There are a couple of other challenges I'd like to enter my card into.

At Mo's Challenge Blog, 'Anything Goes',

I tried to make my colour scheme fit the challenge at Colour Create as well. I hope the DT will approve!

Thanks so much for looking. Hope everyone is having a great week & has gotten over England's defeat. Come on Andy Murray!!

Big Hugs,

Andie xx

Crafts 4 Eternity Recipe Challenge #39

Just got home from the cinema to discver my scheduled post hadn't worked. Top tip, it helps if you remember what the date is correctly!! Anyway it's Friday night & time for Crafts 4 Eternity, another fab challenge coming your way. This week we want you to,
1.Use the sketch,
2.Use a nursery rhyme theme,
3.Use a charm.

My image is from Robyns Fetish Digital Creations, our generous sponsor this week. The prize is 3 digis stamps of your choice from the brilliant selection. He's coloured with Promarkers.

My DPs are Basic Grey Sugar Rush. I love them & the butterfly border punch is by Martha Stewart. There is a charm on there, but I just noticed it wasn't lying flat when I took the photo, Duh!

I had to Google nursery rhymes to fit this image, & here's what I found. It's cute!

Once I saw a little bird,
Come hop, hop, hop;
So I cried "Little Bird,
Won't you stop,stop, stop?"

And was going to the window,
To say "How do you do?"
But he shook his little tail,
And far away he flew.

So please pop over to see the amazing creations of my fellow D Teamies. They've conjured up some real cuteness this week!

Before you go, I just need to tell you about how fabulous Jake Gyllenhaal is in Prince of Persia. That's what me & Hubby went to see tonight. OMG, he is GORGEOUS, that's all I'm gong to say!! On that lovely thought, I'm going to leave you!

Passion For Promarkers - Favourite Things

I had so much fun making my card for this weeks Passion For Promarkers Challenge. My lovely D Teamie, Debs, chose this weeks theme. We would like you to make a card with an image that depicts your favourite thing, be it a past time, person, food etc. This week we are lucky to have a prize of 6 Promarkers donated by the wonderfully kind Wendy At Secret Crafter.

What you may be wondering is my favourite thing! Or you may not actually care, but I'm going to tell you anyway. Family aside, I love relaxing in the sunshine on holiday! Especially while my hubbie, Paul, plays footie with the boys & I can lose myself in a good book, puzzle page or even on the I-Pod.

This is me on my hols. In my dreams, LOL!! No way am I this sexy or gorgeous. I don't even have blonde hair! But I am a bit of a sun worshipper. When I saw this Florence stamp from Kraftin Kimmie, I knew I had to have her. She is coloured with Promarkers, of course. But I won't bore you with the colours. Please just ask if you want to know.

The DP is Blue Awning from K&Co & the embossed paper I ran through my Cuttlebug. I used a MS punch for the doily edge & the sentiment is an old Papermania sticker. The shell comes with Florence.
So now, if you haven't already done so, please pop over to the Passion For Promarkers blog to see the awesome cards of my fellow DT lovelies. Why not join n the fun & be in with a chance of winning our great prize!
I would also like to enterthis card at,
Friday Sketchers where I followed the great layout.

Kraftin Kimmie where the colour scheme is Blue, Yellow & Tan.
Thanks so much for taking the time to look. Hope you're having a great week!
Big Hugs,
Andie xx

Crafts 4 Eternity Recipe Challenge #37

In the spirit of the summer of sport ahead of us, we have a sporty theme for this weeks Crafts 4 Eternity Challenge. To be in with a chance of winning this weeks fab prize, a gorgeous new sailor boy stamp from Crafty Sentiments, you need to follow this recipe.
1. Use the Sketch.
2. Use a sporty image/theme
3. Include an arrow.

I chose this cute little footballer form LOTV for my card. He reminds me of my two little 'wannabes', who have really started to get into their footie of late. After tonight's abysmal England performance, they could even get a call up!! Don't get me started on how poorly England played!!

I coloured him in England colours with my Distress Inks & used Basic Grey Sugar Rush DPs. I 3D'd the ball for extra dimension, added a few Prima adhesive stones. That's it really.

So now it's time to pop on over to see the fab designs of my lovely fellow D Teamies. It's a great challenge for those of you who haven't done their Father's Day cards yet!
So is anybody bored of the World Cup yet? Unless you're South American, there really hasn't been much to shout about so far! I really hope that the football gets better & England especially! The good news is though, that if it doesn't improve, Wimbldon starts on Monday, Yay!! Can Andy Murray win it this year?!
Whatever you are up to. Have a lovely weekend.
Thanks for looking.
Big Hugs,
Andie xx

Passion For Promarkers - Sketch & Male Card!

We were very kind to you last week at PFP, & my didn't you enjoy the challenge. This week we've got the opposite. The challenge that everybody dreads, a masculine card!! If you don't like it blame Debs! But she has made it easier for you by creating a fab sketch for you to follow.

With Father's Day coming up you knew you were going to have to do a male card anyway.
But share your fabulous creations with us this week & you could be the lucky recipient of a fantastic prize. That is, any stamp of your choice from the stunning selection at Whiff of Joy! Woo Hoo!!

I don't have much problem with male cards ordinarily, unless they are for my Dad. He doesn't really do cute, he doesn't fish, garden, or do DIY! Well tough, he got cute!!

I've had this image for ages & it hasn't seen the light of day for years! It's instantly recognisable as a Penny Black image! The DPs are Blue Awning by K & Co. The sentiment is computer generated. A few metallic dew drops et voila!

So now it's time to pop on over, if you haven't already done so to the Passion For Promarkers Blog to see the totally fabulous creations of my lovely D Teamies. I think they have excelled themselves this week.
I'd also like to enter this card at Totally Gorjuss, where the challenge this week is 'One for the Boys'.

Hope everyone is having a good week!
Thanks for looking,

Crafty Sentiments GDT - Challenge #22

It is my pleasure once again to join the Crafty Sentiments Design Team as a guest this week for the new challenge. This time we have a colour scheme for you to follow which is BLACK, WHITE & PINK.

Here is this week's fab prize for the winner. A selection of gorgeous Sprinkles flower embellishments. If you can't wait to see if you are the lucky winner, they are available to buy, here.

This week I have showcased another of the new Spring Amy designs. She looks so dreamy on her cloud. She's coloured with Promarkers & I used Clear Rock Candy Crackle Paint on her wings & sprinkled glitter over it. Have to say it didn't come out as well as I expected. I think I'll be a bit more generous with it next time & see how I get on.

The flower was created with retro punches & a pink flat flower from my stash. I think the papers are 7 Gypsies, but don't quote me on that!

If you haven't already done so. Please pop over to the Crafty Sentiments Blog to see the wonderful work of my fellow D Teamies. You cab use any image if you want to play along.

Thanks for looking. Hope you are enjoying your weekend.

Big Hugs,
Andie xx

Crafts 4 Eternity #37 - Strawberry Muffin!

I'm turning into the White Rabbit, I'm always late with my C4E. This week it's because the theme has been a little problematic for me. Let me tell you what this week's challenge is. We want you to
1. Follow the Sketch
2. Use Strawberries in your creation
3. Use some lace

My problem is, in all my crafting stash, I don't have anything with strawberries on it! Not one to be put off, I saw this as an excellent opportunity to buy a stamp I've been hankering after for ages! But... it didn't get here in time :-( Fortunately, Bunny Zoes saved the day with a lovely Strawberry charm.

You'll have to take my word for it, that Tilda is about to gobble up a delicious strawberry muffin. Ooooh, the thought of it is making me drool. Try not to conjure up that image in your mind; it's not a pretty sight!!

Tilda is coloured with Distress Inks & the DPs are Crate Paper. The lovely flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. I had to see what all the fuss was about, & I have to say, they exceeded my expectations!

There you go. Now it's time to pop over to the C4E blog, where this week my super lovely D Teamies have excelled themselves. Join in the fun & you could win some fab digis from Michele's
Crafts 4 Eternity store.

Thanks so much for looking. Enjoy your weekend. The World Cup is finally here. A perfect excuse to craft in front of the telly, even if you don't like footie!!

Big Hugs for you all,
Andie xx

Passion For Promarker - Pink Birthday Card!

It's Tuesday, & time for our next challenge at Passion For Promarkers. This week my fabulous team mate Anja has chosen the theme & we want you to make a birthday card, but it has to have a pink colour scheme. And it has to be for a man! LOL, only joking on that last bit!! We have a fabulous prize, a £10 voucher to spend at Joanna Sheen's online shop. How good is that!!

Here is my card. I've used Amelia from The Greeting Farm Happy Day set. What a little sweetie she is.

I kept it simple & used mainly Pink Carnation & Blossom to colour her, & used Satin for shading. He hair is a mix of Buttercup, Mustard, andstone & Cinnamon.

You can see better here, that I could not resist adding some glitter on all the stars. I also added a little twinkle in her eyes! I carried on the star theme in the embellisments & glittered a big star to go behind the sentiment. The little stars down the side are from Quixotic Paperie.

So now it's time to check out the gorgeous work of my fellow D Teamies. They have made some stunning cards you must see. Come & join in the fun. We'd love to see what you come up with.

Thanks so much for looking. Hope you are having a great week.

Big Hugs,
Andie xx

Sweet Wonderful Amy!

Today is release day for the new range of Amy stamps at Crafty Sentiments, & it's my privilege as a Guest Designer, to be among the first to get to play with them!!

This week we have a nice simple sketch for you to follow at the challenge blog. Come & play along & you could win this delightful image of barefoot Amy. One of the new release & available today at the Crafty Sentiments store if you can't wait!! You might also want to sign up to be the next Guest Designer!

I chose Amy with a basket to show you today. She such a cutie & so easy to colour. I used my Promarkers for this.

My papers are from MME, Pretty Please & the sentiment is from Magnolia. I did not want anything to detract from the image & the simplicity of the sketch, so I just added some dew drops for a little something extra!

Here is close up of the little sweetie! There isn't much else to tell you really! Pop on over the the Crafty Sentiments blog to see the fabulous creations of my lovely D Teamies!

Hope everyone is getting the most out of their other halves this weekend. It will your last chance to get any work out of them before the World Cup starts. From Friday it will be footie all the way!! I for one am looking forward to it. What about the rest of you?

Crafts 4 Eternity Recipe Challenge #36

I'm back off my hols :-( but back at my crafting table :-) & back in Blogland :-) It feels like an age since I last posted! But I feel well rested & stress free & apart form a bad back, I'm ready to go!

Because of my back problems, I'm a little late with this post for this weeks Crafts 4 Eternity recipe, where this week we want you to
1. Follow the sketch
2. Use a swirl/florish
3. Incorporate flowers
This weeks prize is to join us as GDT memeber for July & you'll also get some of Michele's fab digis.
I've used Maid Marrion Tilda on this card. She's definitely one of my faves. But then again, I'm sure I always say that! I coloured her with Distress Inks & used Magnolia DPs to match. The flowers are from Hobbycarft & courtesy of the loevly Bec at Bizzy Becs. I went a bit mad with the glitter after only intending to add some to the rose she is holding!

So I hope you'll now pop on over to see the fabulous creations of my fellow D Teamies here.
I hope everyone is enjoying the weekend & the sunshine!!

Big Hugs for you all,
Andie xx

Passion For Promarkers - Books

It's my chance to choose the theme for this weeks challenge & it is books. To join us at Passion For Promarkers we want to see cards inspired by books, be it a book title, using book pages as DP or using an image that incorporates a book. You decide.

My card is a Fairy Tale! That & the idea that this beautiful digi, Elaina from Lexi's Doodles, reminds me of Tinkerbell from Peter Pan. I think she's just gorgeous! I wanted to make her really magical & gave her a spell book as well!

To find out more about how I coloured her, check out my tutorial at the Promarker Friday Workshop. I added Papermania adhesive stones. Afterall, what is magic without sparkle?!! The DPs are from Basic Grey's new Cappella range. Oooooh how I luuuuurve these!! And thats about it really!
I'm still on my holidays at the mo, but will be back very soon. Hopefully all my scheduling has been going to plan & you are seeing my posts OK! Can't say that I imagine I will be looking forward to coming back, but by now I will have had 10 days away from my crafting table. I'm sure I will be itching to get back to my crafting!!
Thanks for looking. I hope you will join us at PFP this week. Please hop on over to our blog to see the fabulous inspiration of my wonderful DT colleagues.
