Passion For Promarkers DT - Things with Wings

 Hello! It's Tuesday so time for another fab challenge at Passion For Promarkers. This week you've got me to thank for a nice easy theme. It's summer & there are all kinds of things buzzing about, so I want to see

THINGS WITH WINGS

So despite my introduction I thought I'd go with an Xmas fairy! I've seen lots of All Dressed Up images around blogland & I think they're just so cute. This is the perfect opportunity for me to colour one up. I went for a non-traditional colour palette (my Xmas DPs are in the loft & I couldn't be bothered to bring them down, LOL!). My papers are Basic Grey - Plumeria. The snowflake die is a DooHickey.

Divas By Design DT - Favourite Stamp

Hello! Back again with my DT card for Divas By Design (edit - which somehow didn't schedule properly for yesterday sorry!) Our challenge for you this week is to 

USE YOUR FAVOURITE STAMP

(or digi) 

I have to admit I couldn't choose a favourite stamp. It depends on my mood quite often as to which image I decide to ink up. I also have too many to pick just one. So I decided to go with my favourite stamp company - a much easier choice to make & chose this little cutie from the last darling LOTV release. She coloured with Daler Rowney Artist's Watercolour Pencils. I've had these for ages, but haven't used them for years. Not sure if I still like them, but it was fun to try some different for a change. The papers are MME - The Sweetest Thing, Lavender.

Passion For Promarkers DT

Good Morning! It feels like ages since my last post, but that's because I went on my holidays to Italy. We had a fab time, but we've been back a week now & it feels like such a long time ago already! Anyhoo, normal service is now resumed, actually I don't really have a normal service, so without further ado let me tell you about our new challenge at Passion For Promarkers. This week our theme is

BLUE & YELLOW

I have to admit that this would not have been my first choice colour scheme, but when I remembered I'd been looking after some Pink Paislee - Indigo Bleu for a few years now I was rather pleased to get the opportunity to use some old stash. I also inked up this gorgeous Sugar Nellie cutie which I've also had a while & had not shown any love to as yet. The die is by Memory Box.

Dying for a Challenge at Passion For Promarkers

Good Morning! Time for a a special new challenge at Passion For Promarkers this week, where we're celebrating our birthday. This week, we've made it super easy for everyone to join in, we want you to

USE YOUR DIE CUTS

I used one of the super cute new LOTV fairies that I picked up at their 10th birthday celebrations last weekend. (What a fabulous shop they have) This is 'Time Flies'. Sorry about the quality of the photos. She looks so much better IRL.

I used lots of dies here. The short grass was cut from a Doo Hickey. The tall grass, mini flowers & stemmed hearts are all by Impression Obsession, as I think is the little butterfly, but I'm not sure on that.

You can see the dimension a bit better in this photo & get a hint of the Glamour Dust I added for that magic sparkle touch.

Divas By Design & Passion for Promarkers DT

Right, I think I've done it. I think I'm up to date. The past 10 days have been a whirlwind of work & painting & decorating in preparation for our new flooring that was laid yesterday. Phew, what a relief it's finally finished now & I can relax & enjoy it. It does mean though that I've been rather late with my posts this week & I'm combining the 2 posts into one.

First off is my creation for Divas By Design, where our challenge to you is to make

ANYTHING BUT A CARD

This is a little bird house I made using a House of Zandra template with GCD Ella Blue papers (probably my all time faves - so classy!). Apologies for the poor photo. I didn't finish this till after midnight & I was half asleep when I took them, in bad lighting. Nonetheless here are a few more to show you all the sides.

The grass was cut from a Doo Hickey die.

The Hollyhocks, leaf stems & little flower heads were made with Impression Obsession dies.

I used a Martha Stewart punch to cut the roof. 

The bird die is by Memory Box. Also in the background, you can see just a little of our fab new flooring. I'm so pleased with it, but petrified of dropping or spilling anything on it!!

And now onto my card for Passion For Promarkers where our challenge is to make a card with 

NO SENTIMENT 

This was a nice easy one for me, as I find adding the sentiment to most boring bit of the card making process. The DT got to use images from our sponsor, Aurora Wings & I chose 'Enchanted Visions'. The papers are by Prima.

I hadn't come across Aurora Wings before this challenge & I must say, there are some gorgeous images. In retrospect, given the lack of time I've had this week, this was not, perhaps, the best one for me to have chosen, but I did enjoy colouring her. Our lucky winner will receive a $10 voucher to spend at the Etsy Store.
