Spoonful of Sugar Challenge - Sketch by Tina46

Really enjoyed using this sketch. I sometimes struggle with layouts & generally keep it simple. This is much more exciting & I'm very pleased with the result. I've made it for my the 2nd birthday of my friends daughter next week. I thought seeing as I had a specific card to make I might as well make it in conjunction with a challenge. It is probably all the better for it!! The image is by Whiff of Joy as is the sentiment. I coloured Henry with my beloved distress inks. I was surprised how easy he was to colour. The papers are from the Imaginisce All Kinds of Happy collection, & the ribbon by Fancy Pants - Mulberry Road. The button is from my stash.

Thank you to those kind enough to take the time to leave comments on my last post. I am going to do some blog hopping myself tonight. Is anyone going to the Stitch & Creative Crafts Show in Manchester this weekend? See you there! Have a great weekend whatever you are up to!
Thanks for looking,
Andrea

Hi Andie,

Thank you so much for following my blog & for your kind comments, I am new to blogging & to card making and I too was inspired by the lovely Marlene....I met her in Stampeezee (one of my local craft shops) she had a lush card with her & she told me about distress inks, Tulle.....& caused me to spend more money (not that I need help),if I am honest, she inspired me to create a blog & I cannot wait until I am at the same standard....I have a long way to go but I have come a very long way to.

I love this card that you have created, love the way you have coloured it, in fact I want the stamp....seen it used a few times now & i WANT it (got no whiff of joy stamps at all....or Sugar Nellie, you seem to have a real flair for this card making lark.

Anyway, off to create another card (not going to Manchester as i live 5 mins from NEC in B'ham so I will go there........let us know what you buy.....take some piccies of your new stash)

Hugs

Sarah
