Show us your Legs at Passion For Promarkers

Good Morning one & all! Time for another fab challenge at Passion For Promarkers. I say fab, because I chose the theme this week & it is

LOTS OF LEGS
(ie. images with 3 or more legs in them. You can count tables & chairs too, even a three-legged stool!)

I've been dying to colour this image since I first saw it. It's a digi from Sugar Nellie called 'Little Helpers'. Those little bunnies are just too cute! The papers are Bazill Basics & the trees were cut with a Dee's Distinctively Die, with a little glitter added. You can just about make out the Polar White Flower Soft I used on Santa's fur trims.

So I hope you'll pop on over to the Passion For Promarkers blog & check out the wonderful inspiration of my brilliant D-Teamies. Our lucky winner, this week will win a pack of Flexmarkers from the lovely people at Letraset

www.letraset.com

I am entering this at Sketch Saturday where I used the nice simple sketch for my layout.

At the Sugar Bowl, 'Anything Sugar Nellie Goes'. 'Anything Goes is also the theme at Christmas Card Challenges.

At Totally Gorjuss, they want to see cards using traditional Xmas colours.

So there you go for now. Not much to tell you about at the moment. Family life is revolving around Jack sitting his entrance exam for Sale Grammar this Saturday. Poor little mite, he just wants to get it over & done with. He's done so many test papers of late, but is doing really well in them, so I just hope that it all comes together for him on Saturday morning.
PLEASE LEAVE HIM A GOOD LUCK COMMENT TO GIVE HIM A LITTLE BOOST.

Well that's all from me for now. Have a great week.
Big Hugs,
Andie xx

Divas By Design - Not Sure!

Hello! I'm back with my card for the new Divas By Design challenge. Our theme for you this week, is to make your creations

MONOCHROME

The DT were all given Dilly Beans images to play with for this challenge. This is Anna Framed. I coloured her with Promarkers & added Frosted Lace Stickles all over her hair.
I have to admit, this one takes me out of my comfort zone, not only because of the monochrome colouring, but then I made it clean & simple. I agonised over this for so long. I just couldn't decide if looked all right. I'm still not sure.

Dilly Beans Digi Stamps is our wonderful sponsor for this week's challenge. Many Thanks to them for providing the DT's images. Pop on over to the Divas By Design blog to see the fabulous inspiration of my fellow D-Teamies.

I am entering this at Bearly Mine Challenges where this week 'Anything Goes'.

Thanks so much for looking. Hope you're all having a good week.
Big Hugs,
Andie xx

Passion For Promarkers - Eventually!

I'm rather late with this card for this week's Passion For Promarkers challenge, but I got there eventually! Our theme for this week is

EMBOSSING
(either dry or heat)

This little Nellie Snellen cutie is adorable, (Very similar to LOTV!). The papers are Marianne Design. The snowflake dies are Spellbinders & this is where the  embossing comes in. I covered them with Frantage. This was my first experiment with it. I love it when I see it on other people's cards, but I'm petrified of ruining my image so I have to trial it a bit more first!

Apologies for the quality of my photos. Now that Autumn is here, it is so much harder to get decent light.

I hope you'll join us at Passion For Promarkers this week. Our wonderful sponsor is Digi Stamp Boutique.

I used the fab sketch at Bearly Mine Designs for my layout, so I would like to enter my card there.

At Papertake Weekly, they want you to make it sparkle. I hope you can seen the Glamour Dust I added to the snow & Deely Boppers (is that what they're called?)

So that's all from me for now. Whoop whoop for it being Friday, the weekend is almost here. Whatever you are up to, have a good one.

Thanks so much for looking,

Divas By Design - Happy Anniversary

Morning Blogland. Time for another fab challenge at Divas By Design & this week our theme is

WEDDINGS & ANNIVERSARIES

I went for anniversaries as it just happened to have been mine & Paul's wedding anniversary on the Monday just gone. Hence the date on the card. 12yrs of wedded bliss!!! My image is a darling LOTV stamp, coloured with Distress inks. The papers are MME - Portobello Rd. Big love to my wonderful friend who sent them to me xx. The flag die is from La La Land. Because it was for my hubby & kept the embellishment to a minimum.

So I hope you'll join us for this challenge. Pop on over to the Divas By Design blog to see the wonderful inspiration of my fellow D-Teamies. Our sponsors, this week are the fabulous LOTV.

I used the lovely sketch at Sketch Saturday this week for my layout. So I would like to enter my card there.

I am also entering this at Totally Gorjuss where 'Anything Goes'.

So that's all from me for now. Hope everyone is having a good week.
Thanks so much for looking

Passion For Promarkers - Girly Pearly

Hello! Back again with another card for the Passion For Promarkers DT. This week our wonderful D-Teamie, Kelly has chosen our theme & wants to see creations that are

PINK & GIRLY

My Mojo has been missing a little of late, but couldn't stay away for too long when faced with this adorable LOTV cutie. I bought her last year & she has only just seen ink (tut, tut). The papers are Fancy Pants - Winterland & the snowflakes cut with a Joy Crafts die.

I added a little pink glitter to her crown & Glamour Dust on the snowflakes. I'm worried though, that she's going to catch a chill without a coat, LOL!

At Passion For Promarkers we're sponsored by the lovely people at Letraset who are offering this week's lucky winner a 6 pack of Flexmarkers.

Please pop on over to the PFP blog to see the fabulous creations of my fellow D-Teamies.

I am entering this at Crafting Life's Pieces where I flipped their fab sketch for my layout.

At the LOTV Monthly Challenge, they want to see cards using Ribbon or Lace.

At Lili's Little Fairies, shortly to become Crafty Little Fairies, they want to see cards without flowers.

I'm hoping the cheesecloth & glitter I used is enough to merit inclusion into this weeks Totally Gorjuss challenge which is to use texture.

At Simon Says Stamp, Anything Goes.

Oooh that's a lot of challenges for me. I don't normally enter so many!

Well I hope you are all having a good week. My boys don't go back to school till Sept 9th, so I am off with them this week. We're off to Chester Zoo tomorrow. They love animals even though we have no pets, & are so excited about it. The weather is going to be good, so it should be fun. Today though, I need to get in the garden, the weeds are starting to take over again. Grrrr! It detracts from my crafting time!

Whatever you are up to, have fun.

Thanks so much for looking.

Passion For Promarkers DT

My My how the weeks pass so quickly, it'll soon be Xmas! Time for another challenge at Passion for Promarkers, this week chosen by our fabulous D-Teamie, Nat, who wants to see cards using your favourite colour scheme.

YOUR FAVOURITE COLOUR  COMBO

I've gone for lilac, pink & grey, my absolutely totes fave colour combo. This is one of the new Saturated Canary images called Sweater Socks Fairy. She's fab! The papers are Prima - Fairy Belle.

I have been asked how I create the shadow around the figure. Basically I use the 5 (not 50!) shades of grey, either Cool, Warm or in this case, Ice. I use the darker shades dotted closer to the image & work out. Adding more dots where I want the shadow to look darker. I also used paler shades of pink & lilac all through.  I went over all the shadow with Antique White which has the effect of blending the colours & lightning the areas I felt were too dark. I always feel it's mandatory when colouring fairies, it's mandatory to add sparkle. In this instance I added it to the shadow for a change & I love the way it looks.

I hope you'll join us at Passion For Promarkers this week, where we are sponsored by Digi Stamp Boutique. Our lucky winner will win 6 digi images.

I am also entering this at the Saturated Canary Challenge where their theme is Winged Things.

At Totally Gorjuss they want to see cards with dies or punches. I used dies to cut the fishtail banners & the corner flourish.

My layout is based on the fab sketch at Crafting Life's Pieces.

So there you go. That's it from me. Hope this finds everyone out there happy & well & that you are all surviving the summer hols! My boys are doing tennis club this week. So long may this fine weather continue. Sadly I don't think I've got the next Murray brothers on my hands, but as long as they have fun it's all good. Apart from the fact I have to work :~(

Thanks so much for looking.
Big Hugs,
Andie xx

Divas By Design - Xmas in August

Good Morning Happy Crafters! The Divas are back with another fab challenge for you. I've been noticing more & more Xmas cards out there already. But if you haven't made any yet & needed an excuse to get started here you go, our theme is

XMAS IN AUGUST

This little LOTV cutie is called Moonlight Wishes. I'm ashamed to say she never saw ink last Xmas, but I'm setting that right now. I went for a rather non-traditional colour scheme, using Fancy Pants - St Nick papers. She coloured with Distress Inks & the sentiment is LOTV too. The bauble banner die is by Whimsy & I used the snowflakes from the centres dotted around the card.

So I hope you'll join us this week at Divas By Design & getting cracking with those Chrissie cards. Our prize this week is a surprise gift. Sounds intriguing!!

I am entering this at Lili's Little Fairies where their challenge is also Xmas in August.

At Papertake Weekly the theme is 'Occasion - ally'. My occasion is Xmas.

At Bearly Mine Challenges, Anything Goes.

And at Cute Card Thursday the theme is die-ing to punch. I used the Whimsy decoration banner die.

That's all from me for now. Thanks so much for looking.

Big Hugs,
Andie xx
