Passion For Promarkers - Distressed!

Happy Tuesday one & all! Time for another fab challenge at Passion for Promarkers. This week my lovely & uber talented D-Teamie, Sue has chosen the theme. She wants your creations to be distressed  or have a shabby chic look. This week's lucky winner will win a £10 gift voucher to spend on the fab goodies available at our sponsor, Joanna Sheen.

My card this week uses, what may just turn out to be, my all time favourite Tilda. At least up to this point! She's Tilda in the Autumn Leaves from the new Aples & Cherries collection. I love how happy she looks & how much fun she is having! I'd like to see more happy Tildas (& Edwins!). She is coloured with Aqua Markers to go with the distressed look.

The DPs are two sides of the same sheet from the Fly a Kite range from October Afternoon. Perfect for the Autumnal feel of the image.

I've been playing about with 3D lately & used it on this image to try & give my image a bit more movement. I cut Tilda out & glued her body to the paper, but used silicone glue to raise her arms, legs & head to varying degrees. I also used it on some of the leaves. It is hard to see it in the photo, but you getter a better idea side on. IRL, I'm really pleased with the effect, but man, what a pain cutting out those little leaves!

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts & the leaves around the flowers were cut from a Creatables die. I added adhesive gems too for a little sparkle.

The layout is based on the fab sketch at this week's Just Magnolia challenge.
Stamp Something want to see cards with 'Fall' colours, as do Stamptacular Sunday with their 'Season's Change' challenge.
So I would also like to enter my card for these challenges.

Thanks so much for looking,

Big Hugs,
Andie xx

Crafts 4 Eternity #52 - Lavender & Lace

Woo Hoo! The weekend is almost upon us, which means another Crafts 4 Eternity Challenge. This week we want you to

1.  Follow Michele's fab sketch

2. Incorporate lavender & lace

I had lots of fun with this challenge. I'd been longing to ink up this Tilda & the Boutique stamp for ages & I really enjoyed colouring them with my poor neglected Distress Inks. I love shopping. All I ever seem to buy these days are craft items. Hey, I'm not complaining, but my hubbie might, LOL!!

I was going to mask this Tilda. But instead 3 D'd her in the hope of making her look like she is walking off the page. The papers are a mix of scraps & I used lots of glossy accents on the window & Tilda's handbag & necklace.

There is not too much else to tell you about this card. But I would like to enter it into a couple of other challenges.

At A Spoonfull of Sugar, 'Anything Goes.'

Creative Inspirations want to see cards with 2 or more stamped images.

I hope you will now pop on over to the C4E blog to see what delights my lovely D-Teamies have been rustling up for your delectation. We'd love to have you join our challenge this week.

Thanks so much for looking. Have a great weekend!

Big Hugs,
Andie xx

Passion For Promarker - Hand Made Flowers

It's Tuesday & time to play along with us at Passion For Promarkers. My lovely D-Teamie, Michele has set the challenge this week & wants to see cards with hand made flowers. Our very own Emma is our sponsor. Have you visited her store yet? She has some gorgeous goodies.

She is very generously offering this fab pack of Aquamarkers to this week's lucky winner,

I used another of my Lil Loloita images for this card. I just love the big doe eyes! This is 60's Ivy. She is now available in the UK at Bunny Zoe's.

I used Promarkers for this challenge & my DPs are Basic Grey. My flowers were made from the same paper, with a nestabilities die. I curled the edges & added buttons. I also did a little doodling, though, quite frankly, I'm not so keen on that bit.

I also added some glossy accents to the boots belt & hairband, as the 60s retro vibe, to me, always conjures up images of patent & plastic!

My sketch is based on this month's challenge at Bunny Zoe's.

The theme this week at the Lil Lolita Boutique is 'Buttons'

And at Secret Crafters this week, 'Anything Goes'

So I would like to enter this in to those challenges as well.

Please pop on over to the PFP blog to see the fabulous creations of my team mates & show them some love!

Thanks so much for looking,

Sugar Nellie DT Call

Here's my entry for the, in my mind at least, Holy Grail of DT calls! I think of them as my desert island stamps. If I could only work with stamps from one company it would be Sugar Nellie. I love the designs & the variety, as a result I have loads!!

I've used a gorgeous image from the Autumn kit, coloured with Promarkers & MME DPs. I chose this one as she's been somewhat neglected since last year. But now it looks like Autumn is here already, she can come out to play again. Having said that my card has more of a wintery feel, I hear we're forecast snow before the end of the month!

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts & because I was not sure how literally we were required to interpret the sketch for the DT call I added tiny stars amongst them for extra twinkle!

Well for now, I'm going to keep my fingers crossed, but wold like to wish all the other entrants the best of luck too. I've been admiring their work & the standard is high!

Thanks for looking,

Big Hugs,
Andie xx

Crafts 4 Eternity #51 - Autumn Colours

Yippee, Friday! Time for another fab Crafts 4 Eternity Challenge & the last day of my working week!! For this week's challenge we want you to
1. Follow the sketch
2. Use Autumn Colours

I have finally been able to ink up an image I've had for quite a while. I first saw this image on the fabulous Lilian's blog, last year. Her colouring is exquisite & I fell in love with it straight away. It's by Belles n' Whistles.

I coloured the imge with Aqua Markers & the papers are Cosmo Cricket Nutmeg. The felt diecut I found in my stash.

Please pop on over to the C4E blog to see the wonderful creations of my fellow D-Teamies. Join us this week & you could be the winner of a great prize from Crafty Sentiments.

This card also fits with the challenge at A Spoonfull of Sugar this week where the theme is 'Fall into Autumn.'

Thanks so much for looking,

Passion For Promarkers - Photo Inspiration

Happy Tuesday! Time for another Passion For Promarkers Challenge. This week the theme has been chosen by my lovely team mate Julie who has provided this rather funky bag as photo inspiration for this weeks challenge. Make of it what you will & let's see the wonderful creations you come up with!

Moreover, this week's winner will receive a totally fabulous prize from Funky Kits. That being 3 Sugar Nellie stamps of their choice. OMG I wish I could enter!!

This week the PFP team have all used Sugar Nellie images. Mine is Bashful from the Diane Duda range. I love these quirky figures & the little bunny on this one is sooo cute!

I used my Promarkers for this one. (I've become quite enamoured with my Aqua Markers of late!) My papers are from the Crate Paper Cowgirl collection. I used the Magnolia Halloween Swirl on the backgound paper. The flower is a mix of a Hydrangea, Nesties die &, of course, a button.

My layout is based on Judy's fab sketch at this weeks Sugar Bowl challenge, so I would also like to enter this card there.
If you have not already doen so, please pop over to the PFP blog & see the fabulous creations of my fellow D-Teamies & why not play along.
Thanks so much for looking.

Crafts 4 Eternity - Welcome Baby Mattias!

Introducing the latest addition to my family. This is my new nephew, Mattias, born on 9/9/10, & just a couple of hours old in this photo. I can't wait to meet him.

This is the card I made for his arrival. I hope he likes it!

I was actually making this as my DT card for Crafts 4 Eternity. This week's challenge was to follow the sketch & make an aperture card.

I coloured this little cutie, from Sugar Nellie, with Promarkers. The die cuts are from the rather old K & Co Cuddly Friends collections & the swirl is the Wedding Swirl from Magnolia Ink. This is my first attempt at an aperture card & I have to say, getting all the edges to look neat was a logistical nightmare for my little brain!
This post is a little late, but if you fancy playing along this week at C4E pop along & have alook at the fabulous inspiration of my fellow D-Teamies. They appear to have gotten along much better with this challenge than I did, LOL!!
Thanks for Looking,
Big Hugs,

Hubba Hubba!!

Just wanted to share the card I made for my wonderful hubby Paul, (Hubba Hubba!). It's our wedding anniversary today, 9yrs of wedded bliss! Am I making you feel sick yet, LOL!

I just love this wedding couple from the magnolia Wedding 2010 collection. They are just leaning towards each other for a big snog, LOL!

They are coloured with Aqua Markers & the papers are MME & Fancy Pants - My Family.
I'm sorry, I can't remember where the sentiment ticket is from.

I added a little glitter for a little wedding magic, but otherwise kept it quite simple. I wanted my loved up couple to take full centre stage.

I want to enter this card at Just Magnolia, where this week 'Anything Goes!

The layout is based on the sketch at Papertake Weekly, so I'm entering it there too.

Finally, I used one of my favourite colour schemes which just happens to match the new challenge at Colour Create.

So there you go. Thanks so much for looking.
Big Hugs to One & All,

Whiff of Joy - Challenge 86, Jane's Sketch

The Whiff of Joy challenge blog is having a DT call, so I thought I'd give it a go, & dug out one of my favourite WOJ stamps, Charlie with Snowballs.
I had great fun making this card & maybe went a bit overboard. I haven't made an easel card for ages. Charlie is coloured with Aqua Markers & the papers are MME, The Merry days of Christmas. My last card was all pastels, this one is very bright & cheerful!

The snowflakes were created with a Spellbinders die set & the sentiments are both by Cats Life Press, both available from my PFP DT buddy, Emma's fab online store, Crafty Emma's

I did not go overboard with the glitter as it's a boys card, but had to give it a little Xmas sparkle!

Not much else to tell you really! I hope you like it.

Thanks for looking,

Passion For Promarkers - Sweet Treats!

Tuesday again, my how the summer has just flown by! This week's challenge at Passion For Promarkers has been chosen by the fabulous Emma, who wants to make us all hungry. But in consideration for our waistline, she wants us to put all our 'sweet treats' on paper, rather than in our mouths!

This weeks lucky winner, will receive a $10 voucher to spend at Simon Says Stamp. How fab is that?!

I used CC Design Kiki La Rue image for this challenge. I had to have a bowl of ice cream while making this card. I couldn't resist! The DPs are from the Magnolia Ink, 'A Little Yummy for my Tummy' collection.

This is quite possibly the palest card I've ever made! She's coloured with Aqua Markers & for the layout I used the great sketch at Friday Sketchers this week. Of course, this is so girly, I had to add a little glitter & lace. The sentiment is from Crafty Sentiments & I've had the flowers for ages, but I can't remember where they're from.

So there you go. Please pop over to the PFP blog, to see the yummy creations of my fellow D-Teamies, they're delicious!

Thanks for looking!

Crafts 4 Eternity #49 - Angels & Fairies

It's always nice to get to the end of the working week, especially when there is a fab challenge to get your teeth into! This week at Crafts 4 Eternity we would like you to

1. Follow the Sketch

2. Incorporate a theme of Angels or Fairies

To be honest, I'm not sure if my image is an angel or a fairy! I'm leaning towards angel, what do you think? She's from the Leanne Ellis range at Sugar Nellie, entitled 'Wish'.

I wanted to go for a vintage vibe with this one & so all the paper (Basic Grey - Kioshi) has been distressed to within an inch of it's life! The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts & I forget where the lace if from. I added glossy accents covered in glitter to her wings.

I had a kind of happy accident with this one. I wasn't to happy with the colour of her face. You don't see many angels that look like they're wearing fake tan!! I decided, for extra shimmer to spritz everything with Glimmer Mist after I'd stuck everything down. I think I used a bit to much as some of the Distress Inks lifted & spread over the background. It has ended up bleaching her face & hair a little, but also giving her a kind of heavenly glow & I rather like the effect!

So it's time now, if you haven't already been, to pop on over to the C4E blog to see the fabulous inspiration of my fellow D-Teamies. The winner of this weeks challenge will be asked to join us as Guest Designer for October, so I hope you'll play along.

I would also like to enter this card into this fortnights Colour Create challenge, where the colour scheme is pastel lilac, pastel yellow & pastel mint.

Thanks so much for looking, have a great weekend!

Big Hugs,
Andie xx
