Crafts 4 Eternity - Polka Dots!

It's Friday & we've got another top challenge for you at Crafts 4 Eternity. This week's is nice & simple. You need to incorporate polka dots onto your card. Easy!!

I could not resist this super cute beauty from Bildmalarna. I coloured her with Distress Inks & added a little glitter to the  butterfly. The DPs are Prima - Jack & Jill & the sentiment is from Pollycraft. I haven't used flowers for ages & I love how gorgeous these blooms from Wild Orchid Crafts are.

I based my layout on the fab sketch at Sketch Saturday.

I also hope my cuties fit the bill at Secret Crafters where the challenge is 'It's a couple thing'! Perhaps not the conventional couple they were thinking of, but they sure make a lovely pair don't they?!!

I hope you'll pop on over  to the C4E blog & see the fab creations of my marvellous D-Teamies. This week's prize is a collection of 25 stamped images. (FYI, they are also 'Going Dotty' at Just Magnolia & hAnglar & sTanglar this week, so there is a fab opportunity to combine both challenges.)

Thanks so much for looking. Have a great weekend!

Crafts 4 Eternity - Embellishment Recipe

Oh my Goodness, I am so late with this card. Despite using the most adorable LOTV image, my mojo has been AWOL this week. But, trooper that I am, I soldiered on & produced a card I'm reasonably happy with! Enough of my twittering though, let me tell about this week's challenge. To join us at C4E this week, your card must incorporate the following items:-
1. String
2.Flower
3.Button

I coloured the 'Birthday Fairy' with Distress Inks. I've been experimenting with background shadow lately & didn't get it how I wanted with this one, Grrrr. The papers are Gossamer by Memory Box. I sooooo love these! I added fine glitter on her wings & MS tinsel glitter in her wand & deeley boppers. Everything else is from my stash.

If you have not already paid the C4E blog a visit, please check out the wonderful creations of my fellow D-Teamies. Play along this week & you could win this gorgeous digi from our fab sponsor, Crafty Sentiments. Isn't she a cutie!!

Finally, there are a few other challenges I would like to enter with this card.

The layout is based on Dawny's fab sketch at LOTV this week.

Cute Card Thursday are host a 3,2,1 challenge. I've used 3 papers, 2 flowers & 1 image.

I've also completed a line on the Simon Says Stamp bingo card, by using buttons, flowers & glitter.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend.
Thanks so much for looking!

My Favourite Things!

It's been a while in the making, but I had to ink up these gorgeous cuties for this week's Just Magnolia & hAnglar & sTanglar Challenge. I got some lovely presents this Christmas, but this is by far my favourite! A huge 'Thank You' to my awesome, totally fabulous, wonderful friend who spotted a gap in my stamp collection & knew I would give a very loving home to these treasures!

The images are coloured with Distress Inks & the papers are Basic Grey - Curio. I cut them out & stuck them against a Magnolia love heart stamp, though you can't really really see the shape of it. The layout is based on the fab sketch at this week's Sketch Saturday, but I took a few liberties, so I jope it still qualifies.

There are a couple of other challenges I created this to enter into.

At Secret Crafters the theme is 'With Love'.

'Love is in the Air' is also the theme at this month's Bunny Zoe's challenge.

Finally, 'Anything Goes' at Stamp Something, so I am entering it there too.

WOW! 5 challenges in one card, that's a record for me! Thanks so much for looking. Hope you're having a good week!

Andie xx

Crafts 4 Eternity - Colour Challenge

Another fab challenge at Crafts 4 Eternity. No sketch this week, instead we want to see your cards with a navy, light blue & silver/grey colour scheme. Perfect for the cooler temperatures we have at the moment. Having said that I went for rain over snow! Hopefully, we've seen the back of that for a while.

This poor Miss Anya has not seen ink for ages, so I coloured her with Promarkers & kept it very simple. The DPs are Tim Holtz & the crystals are Prima. The ribbon I picked up at the NEC.

I based my layout on the sketch at Totally Gorjuss this week, so I like to enter this card there too.

I hope you'll pop over & check out the wonderful creations of my lovely D-Teamies at C4E & play along with us this week.

Thanks so much for looking.

Happy Birthday Sugar Bowl!

I made this card over a week ago & haven't got round to posting her yet. I've still not gotten back into the swing of thngs fully after Xmas! Also my time has been taken up sewing 8(!) badges onto Jack's Beavers uniform. A task I'd being putting off for quite some time!

This sassy cutie is coloured with Distress Inks & the papers are Basic Grey - Cappella. I'm not sure what I will use this one for yet, so I've not put on a sentiment. Perhaps it will be a Thank You card, 'Thanks a Latte' would work!!

Apologies for the quality of the photos. I don't get to see much daylight at the moment outside of work. I can't wait for the end of January, it's by far my worst month! Only 20 more days to go :~(

I'm entering this card at the Sugar Bowl - Happy Birthday ladies!

Secret Crafters are looking for cards with 'Tons of Texture'

So there we go. Hope everyone is having a god week. Thanks so much for looking.

Crafts 4 Eternity - New Look!

It's our first challenge of the year & we've got a new look! From here on in the challenges will no longer be based around sketches. There will be something different to get your teeth into each week. Having said all that, we're kicking off...with a sketch!

It's been a while since this super cute LOTV fairy has been out to play! She's so gorgeous. I coloured her to match Prima Jack & Jill papers.

I've kept it very simple & faithful to the sketch as I made this for a friend to give her daughter & I'm not sure she wanted lots of flowers. My instructions were girly & glittery!

I am also entering this card at Papertake Weekly where the challenge is 'Anything Goes'.

Tell you what, it's not even been a full week back at work & I am so glad it's the weekend already. The holiday is already a fading memory!

Thanks for looking.

Happy New Year!!

Gosh, it's been a while since I last posted anything! So let me start by wishing each & everyone of you a Happy & Prosperous New Year, with lots time & inspiration to achieve a wonderfully creative 2011!

Though I haven't been near the computer much in the last few weeks, I do have a few cards to show that I made since my last post. These first to use my favourite LOTV Christmas image. The first I made for my boss for the team to sign & the second was requested by a colleague for his wife when he saw the first card, so they are very similar.

The images are coloured with Distress Inks & I used Glistening Snow Writer for the snow & Martha Stewart Leaf Glitter for the tinsel. It looks really effective IRL. The papers are Memory Box - Mistletoe.

I'm so pleased with how these turned out. They have to be amongst my favourite cards for the whole of last year!

The were several challenges I had planned to enter these into, but time got away from me. Christmas was more about family than spending time on the computer & as a result I have neglected some very lovely people. But I intend to remedy that asap! There is still one challenge running that I will enter these into & that is 'Sparkle & Shine' at Bunny Zoes.

So for now that is it, but now I am back in the saddle I will have lots more to show you! Starting tomorrow with my Dt card for Crafts 4 Eternity, where we will have a new format, so check it out!

Till then, have a lovely day!

Thanks for looking,
