Good Morning! Time for another fun challenge at Passion for Promarkers, where this weeks theme has Mother's Day in mind, but it could be for any female. it just has to be
FOR A SPECIAL LADY
While this may not be an overtly feminine card, it is for my Mum, who doesn't really do fussy, fancy fairies, girly etc. But as a child I loved the story of Squirrel Nutkin, so this harks back to then. The image is from A Day For Daisies & the papers are LOTV - Country Lady.
Just to prove it is a card for a special lady, here's the inside which was all stamped with Mama Elephant sentiments, as was the message on the front.
So play along with us this week & hop on over to the Passion For Promarkers blog to see more fab inspiration from my wonderful fellow D-Teamies. Our sponsor this week is the very generous Polkadoodles, who are offering our lucky winner these to fantastic digi images.
I would like to enter this at Sketch Saturday, where I have used their lovely sketch for my layout.
At Papertake Weekly there theme is is 'Mum's the Word'. As I said, this isn't the most girly of cards, but it's genuinely the card I am sending to my Mum.
So there you go for now. Hope you're having a good week. Thanks so much for looking.
Such a lovely card to give to your mum knowing it will remind you both of past times.
The squirrel is adorable and love the papers.
Have a lovely week.
Hugs Sharon. x

Hi Andie, I have been trying to comment here on a few occasions but for some reason Blogger hasn't let me until now, hence why I have only commented on your Facebook picture. Sadly life does get in the way often and things get a bit hectic, it's quite ok I fully understand, I do try to visit everyone too but it just isn't possible all the time. Hope things calm down for you, take care,
Hi Andie, wonderful card, I love the rich, warm colours and your colouring is so on point...it really makes this image pop!
You asked how I did the sentiment on my PFP chocolate card...the design papers are digital and I just overlayed some white text on the computer and printed...easy peasy as I don't do difficult! :) Donna ♥ x
