Happy Easter!

Thought I'd also share a couple of images from Easter. The first is one of the Easter cards I made for the boys. 

I would like to enter this at Lawnscaping Challenges, where the challenge is to add dimension. I hope you can tell the bunnies are on 3D pads. I've just reviewed how similar this is to the card that inspired it & I really must give credit to Nichol Magouirk as the real talent behind it. She is such a wonderful source of inspiration.

At Allsorts Challenge the theme is Easter, so I am entering this there too.

The second is the elusive & lesser known Easter pheasant (always overlooked in favour of his more popular friend, the Easter bunny!), photographed in the field behind my Mum & Dads house.

For a Special Lady at Passion For Promarkers

Good Morning! Time for another fun challenge at Passion for Promarkers, where this weeks theme has Mother's Day in mind, but it could be for any female. it just has to be

FOR A SPECIAL LADY

While this may not be an overtly feminine card, it is for my Mum, who doesn't really do fussy, fancy fairies, girly etc. But as a child I loved the story of Squirrel Nutkin, so this harks back to then. The image is from A Day For Daisies & the papers are LOTV - Country Lady.

Just to prove it is a card for a special lady, here's the inside which was all stamped with Mama Elephant sentiments, as was the message on the front.

GARDEN LIFE

I'm on a bit of a Sugar Nellie kick at the moment, though this is the Belles & Whistles version which s way smaller than the original which was massive. I wish you could get something in between. The papers are Prima - Fairy Belle & the dies are various Impression Obsession die, except for the kraft grass which is a Doo Hickey.

Teddy Bears at Passion for Promarkers

Happy New Year! It's my first post of the year & time for another new challenge at Passion For Promarkers. This week our challenge to you is to create a card with a

TEDDY BEAR

So I've used a Furry Friend from Sugar Nellie called Picket Post. The papers are Basic Grey-Serenade & the sentiment is from Lili of the Valley. I love this colour scheme.

So any New Years Resolutions. I'm going to try & make a better stab at the same ones I probably made last year. To be a better blogger, buy less stash & use up what I have! I have others too. Eat less, exercise more & lose weight. Above all though, I want to make my family happy, give & teach my boys as much as I can & watch them grow as each day they make my heart swell with pride.  Soppy old cow, aren't I, lol!!
