This lovely little lady is Amy. Isn't she sweet! I coloured her with Distress Inks & used Basic Grey Bittersweet DPs

This weeks Challenge at Crafty Sentiments is to use a punch on your creation. I used retro flower punches & a swirl punch.

WOOHOO! I can finally reveal the secret I've been soooooo excited about for the last few weeks! I made the Passion For Promarkers DT! YIPPEE!!
I join at a very special time as this week is the 1st anniversary birthday celebration & for this weeks challenge, 'Anything Goes!'

I wanted to make a card that reflects my happiness at being chosen as part of the new DT & the colours of these Basic Grey Sugar Rush papers sure do make me feel happy!

My image is Fleur Anya from The Greeting Farm. What a little sweetie! I decoupaged her headband for extra dimension. I used a Marianne Design die cut for my flower & an EK success punch for the swirl. Otherwise I kept things quite simple.

Crafts 4 Eternity Recipe Challenge #34

Friday Night!! Crafts 4 Eternity Challenge time again!! This week we've got another fab sketch for you, we want you to incorporate a food or cookery theme & use gingham.

This little cutie is a CC Designs Kiki La Rue image, coloured with Promarkers & the papers are MME Laundry Line, sent me by my lovely firend, Dena.

Not much to tell you about this otherwise! Nice & simple - just like me!!! Why not pop over to the C4E blog & check out the fab creations of my lovely DT colleagues & join in the fun.
I have a big apology to make. I have been rather quiet over the last couple of weeks as I am off on holiday tomorrow, Yippee!! I also have some exciting news I can't divulge yet, so I've had lots of preparation to do. All can be revealed soon. But as a result I've been neglecting some of you lovely people, & for that I'm really sorry. When I get back, normal service will be resumed!

For now, I'll bid you Adios!

Big Hugs for you All!

Crafts 4 Eternity Recipe Challenge #33

Apologies for the fact this post is a little late. I need to master scheduled posts! We have a new challenge at Crafts 4 Eternity & this week we want you to,
1. use the sketch
2. use shades of blue
3. add some beads
I rotated & flipped the sketch to suit my needs on this one, to balance the floral embellishment I added. The papers are from Magnolia too. I've resisted temptation on these for so long, it simply wasn't possible to ignore hem any longer!!

The navy paper along the bottom is stamped with a flourish in white ink & then glittered to make it all girly! There is more glitter on her crown & wand which I sprinkled over the glaze I used. The beads are on a wire stem in the flowers.

There really is not much else to tell you about this card. So now it's time to head on over to The C4E blog to see the stunning creations of my DT colleagues. And check out this gorgeous digi teddy Michele has created, which is te prize for this weeks winner.

I also want to enter this card into 2 more of my favourite challenges.
Papertake Weekly - Shiny, Sparkly & Special
Just Magnolia - One for the Girls
Thanks so much for looking. Hope you are all having a great weekend
Big Hugs,
Andie xx

Crafts 4 Eternity Recipe Challenge #32

Friday night, C4E time once more! We have another fab challenge for you. This week we want you to,
1. Use the sketch
2. Use a quote
3. Use some wood.

Well, I don't mind admitting this one really stumped me! I scoured the house for something wooden to use. With a little inspiration from a friend I decided to use cocktail sticks. I planned to put my quote on a flag, but it didn't fit. so instead I broke up the flag pole to make a floor for my tiger to sit on.

As for my quote. The inside reads, 'You make my heart sing' from the fabulous Troggs classic, 'Wild Thing'. I love that song!!

My image is by High Hopes & has not seen ink for ages. Well done me for remembering that the oldies are still goodies!! He's coloured with Promarkers & the DPs are Melissa Frances. Now it's time to stop by my the C4E blog & check out the fabulous creations of my DT colleagues. They have all managed much better cards than me!

So there you go. Is everybody ready for the weekend? I sure am. I'm off to a wedding tomorrow, & really looking forward to seeing my boys throw some shapes at the disco tomorrow. Their fave is Beyonce's 'Single Ladies'. That should be funny!! Ben is a real little groover!

Thanks so much for looking. Have a great weekend.
Big Hugs,
Andie xx

3 in 1 Tilda

There is a lesson in this card. Always check you have sufficient quantity of the DPs you intend to use before you start colouring the image! Don't do what I did & imagine a gentle, pastel coloured card & then find out, once you've lovingly coloured your Tilda, that your Basic Grey Wisteria pad is mainly just scraps!! DUH!!

So Bo Bunny Marrakesh & Fancy Pants Daydreams to the rescue. Not until I coloured over the green bits with Pink! I think it turned out OK, but I'm disappointed because it isn't what I wanted.

Anyway I made this card for 3 fabulous challenges.

Just Magnolia - Bev's fab Sketch

A Spoonfull of Sugar - 3D. The oval image is on foam pads

Quixotic Paperie - Distressing. I love the distressed look

I used a crystal cake decoration on the flower centre, (it looks better IRL!) & the heart pin is also from Quixotic Paperie. And there you go. Not much else to tell you about.

Hope everyone has had a lovely Bank Holiday weekend. Ours has been great, but OMG, so cold!
Back to work tomorrow, but another day off on Thursday as Jack's school is a Polling Station & is closed. Yippee for me, but big disappointment for Jack as he loves school!

Hope everyone out there is happy & well. Thanks for looking.

Big Hugs,
Andie xx
