Passion For Promarkers - Family

Good Morning! I'm back with my Passion For Promarkers DT card, where this week, my lovely D-Teamie Donna, has chosen the theme of 

FAMILY
(ie, a card for a family member)

This is the card I made for my hubbie, Paul's 40th birthday. He's a bit (lot!) of a gamer. This image is 'High Score Hugh' from Dr Digi's House of Stamps. OK the stomach is a little larger (only a little!) & the hair a little bit greyer (not much!) than Paul's, but otherwise he's an almost spot on likeness! The papers are MME - All Spice.

Such a simple theme in fact, I actually made two cards. My son Jack turned 10 last month & I had to make a card for my Mum to give him too.

Both images are from Tiddly Inks & the papers are DCWV - All About Boys.

Fancy cards would have been wasted on Jack so I just went for fun images I knew he'd love & kept them really simple.

Yay! It's time for another fab challenge at Passion For Promarkers. This week we're playing

This is Anya Treats by TGF. I made this really sweet & simple as the image is quite big & I just wanted it to have centre stage. The papers are Basic Grey - Bittersweet.

I was really hoping to make a snowman with the boys :~(  I'm fed up of the cold now, so lets see some signs of Spring pleeeeaaase!!

Good Morning! Time for another challenge at Passion For Promarkers. This week it's my lovely D-Teamie, Eileen's turn to choose our theme & she wants to see

CARDS FROM AROUND THE WORLD

I used this gorgeous Geisha, called Green Lady from A Day For Daisies. She's so demure & beautiful. I kept it all quite simple with Basic Grey Kioshi & used Doo Hickey dies for the flower & a Marianne die for the leaves(?).

This is LOTV's gorgeous Fairy with a Dove, coloured to match some of my fave DPs, Basic Grey - Plumeria. The fishtail banner was created with a Die-namics die. Of course it's a fairy, so I had to add a little Glamour Dust too! (I think it's the law!)

Here's my card for the Passion For Promarkers challenge this week. I was a little late finishing it & then forgot to blog it! My fabulous D-Teamie, Pinky has chosen our theme this week which is

ADD SPARKLE

This Canary Love from Saurated Canary. I have to stop myself making every card an SC card at the moment, I just love all the images. It's the hair! The papers are Glitz - Pretty in Pink. I don't use the darker pink shades of my Promarkers very often, but I luuurve the colours in this. It's a shame the photo is so lousey, the colours are so much nicer IRL.

I made this card for a friend to give to her niece. I love this gorgeous Saturated canary image, but then I love them all! The papers are Memory Box, Gossamer I think? The sentiment was computer generated. I covered her dress in Glamour Dust to ensure she looked totally gorgeous.

Woah! Has been 2 weeks already since my last post? Where does the time go? But it's time once more for another fab challenge at Passion For Promarkers. This week our theme is

PETS

On what was possibly the best day of Autumn this year we took the boys for a walk at Dunham Massey Park, a National Trust property near Altrincham. They have dear roaming the park. The boys loved getting up close to the wild dear that roam there.

I went for pink to colour this little Digi Stamp Boutique cutie & used Fancy Pants - Winterland papers. I added cheesecloth to 'shabby' it up a bit! The sentiment is LOTV & the litlte snowflakes are from a Martha Stewart punch. There's a little Glamour Dust on her pockets for a  touch of sparkle.

Passion For Promarkers DT

 Hello! Did you think I'd disappeared? It feels like ages since my last post. I'm still finding my mojo is a little unreliable! Nonetheless, it being my turn to choose the theme for this weeks challenge at Passion For Promarkers, I had to dredge up some inspiration from somewhere! I went with the theme of

AUTUMN LEAVES

 My inspiration soon returned once I got cracking on colouring this gorgeous Saturated Canary image from the Little Darlings range. I don't recommend colouring flesh tones in the artificial light of my lounge however! I teamed her with Cosmo Cricket - Nutmeg papers. The fence is a Doo Hickey die & the little leaves were cut with Woodware mini punches.

I am also entering this at Wild Orchid Crafts where the theme is Autumn Colours. The flowers on my card are from WOC.

I used the fab sketch at Crafting Life's Pieces for my layout. Though I just realised I left the sentiment off. I hope that's OK.

At the Saturated Canary Challenge they want to see at least three things on your card beginning with the letter 'B'. Mine are Blooms, Buttons (scattered amongst the leaves), Brown & Bling (just visible amongs the blooms).

So there you go. I'm just hoping this Autumn turns out more like the colours on my card than the wet, grey view out of my window. What is happening to our weather this year? Anyway, here's hoping it gets better.

Good morning. Gosh has it been so long since my last post? The weeks are just flying by at the moment. Xmas will be here before you know it!! Despite that & the fact that the evenings are getting a bit shorter, let's bid a fond farewell to summer with the colour scheme chosen my super talented Passion For Promarker D-Teamie, Maya

Good evening! That should say morning, but for one reason & another I'm rather late with this. Mainly down to my gorgeous neice & nephew who just wouldn't let a poor old Auntie craft in peace, LOL! Anyhoo now I am here, better tell you what this is about. We've got a fab new challenge over at Passion For Promarkers where our new theme has been chosen by the wonderful Lis. She wants to see cards with

NEEDLES & PINS 

OMG, when I saw this Kraftin Kimmie stamp I just had to get her. This is one of the new Candy Girls, called Izzy Ice Cream. I love colouring folds in dresses & wavy hair so this suited me down to a T. I imagined a Raspberry Ripple flavoured ice cream & took it from there! The sentiment is by Amy R for CC designs. There is a whole set of cupcake related phrases - YUM! The papers are MME - The Sweetest Thing, Lavander. I also did some very basic, big stitches & threaded a little bead through.

I have to admit I don't like making shaped cards. I find I really lack inspiration when it comes to designing them. This is no exception. I've played it safe with an easel card. The gorgeous image is Nevaeh from Saturated Canary & the papers are MME - The Sweetest Thing, Lavender. The swirls & tag were cut with Doo Hickey dies.

Apologies for the quality of the photos. I spent ages trying to get some decent light.
