Secret Crafters - Around the House

Good morning! I hope this post finds you all bright eyed & bushy tailed!! It's the weekend & time for you all to do a spot of housework. You think I'm joking?!! I have the pleasure of choosing this week's challenge at Secret Crafters. I want to see your creations influenced by things you find

AROUND THE HOUSE

I chose this Belles & Whistles image, which actually depicts me dealing with our laundry mountain. Look at the smile on my face as I go about my happy work...NOT!!

This little cuties is coloured with Distress Inks & the gorgeous papers are actually winter/Xmas ones. They are Cosmo Cricket - Mitten Weather. Last I looked, Wendy actually had these on special offer at the Secret Crafters shop. Check them out when she's got everything back up online.

I left a sentiment off this card as, to be fair, I'm not sure when I will use it. But I'm loving, rediscovering Elisabeth Bell. Housework sure ain't my thing, as anyone who has ever visited my home will testify to. Having said that, my Mum & Dad are coming over on Sunday, so guess what I will be doing today! :~(

After visiting the fabulous creations of my lovely D-Teamies at the Secret Crafters Challenge blog. I hope you'll all see fit to play along with us.

I though I might also play along at the Belles & Whistles Challenge blog this week, where the theme is 'ribbon or lace, or both'

Hope everyone has a better day than me! Thanks so much for looking.
Big Hugs,
Andie xx

Crafts 4 Eternity - Sketch

Yay for Friday, the weekend is nearly upon us & a special bonus for me as I'm already off work, with the boys, for a teacher training day. Oh happy day!!

Time to tell you about our fab challenge at Crafts 4 Eternity this week where  we have a sketch for you to follow. This week's lucky winner will receive a Crafts 4 Eternity mini card kit!

This is a slight departure for me as I always frame my layers with dark card. No longer, as I love the effect of distressing creamy coloured card. It makes the whole thing so much lighter. Perfect for Spring.
I've used another of the released Elizabeth Bell images for Belles & Whistles, originally done for Sugar Nellie. I'm just loving these at the moment. The papers are SEI - Claire & the flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts. I die cut the leaves with a Magnolia Doo Hickey die & added flat back gems for a touch of sparkle. The sentiment is from my fave set by Lili of the Valley.

I hope you'll now hop on over to the C4E blog to see the fabulous creations of my lovely D-Teamies.
I would also like to enter this at Papertake Weekly this week, where 'Anything Goes'.
So there you have it. Thank's so much for looking. Have a lovely day!
Big Hugs,
Andie xx
