Divas By Design DT

Good Morning. It's been a while since my last post. It's so annoying when life gets in the way of crafting, LOL! But today sees the start of another fab chalenge at Divas By Design, where this week,

ANYTHING GOES

I have to apologise for the dreadful photos. It's so hard to get any decent natural light at the moment when I am at work all day. I made this for my hubby for our wedding anniversary. It's a Kraftin Kimmie image, called 'Happily Ever After' would you believe! I coloured it with Prismas & the papers are Prima - Fairy Flora I think. The embellishment is a little wooden heart with the word 'LOVE' cut out. I inked it purple & covered it with glitter. The photo does not really pick it up very well.

Welcome to the weekend & another fab challenge at Secret Crafter's Saturday Challenge. Lovely Linda has chosen our theme this week & in honour of the Queen's Official Birthday, she has opted for

RED, WHITE & BLUE

I inked up this gorgeous Kraftin Kimmie Calla Lilly image & coloured her with Prismas. The papers are Papermaia, Portobello Road. I used a feather to echo her hair ornament & the swirl is a Doo Hickey.

Creative Card Crew DT

Happy Valentines Day one & all! I'll show you the card I made for my hubby tomorrow, because today we have a new challenge at Creative Card Crew. It's the one we all dread, LOL!

MASCULINE CARDS

 

Grown up male cards are absolutely the hardest to find inspiration for I always think, but with 2 young boys to cater for, I do have a supply of images for them. This is from the Kraftin Kimmie Snips & Snails set. The papers are parcel paper & from a pad I got free with a magazine. I dusted off my Promarkers for a change for this one. They have not had much of a look in of late.

Passion For Promarkers Mega Christmas Challenge - Celebrations!

Well, my, my, my, where has this year gone? Six months ago we (team 2) returned to Passion For Promarkers for our stint, whilst team 1 took a well earned rest. I can't believe this is now over & this is my final card for PFP, for now. But what a way to go out. This is the final PFP challenge of the year, we have lots of wonderful sponsors & both team 1 & team 2 have loads of fab inspiration to share with you.  So what better way to mark this than with a big

CELEBRATION!

It seems strange at this time of year not to be making a Xmas card, but my little boy, Ben turns 6 on the 19th Dec. Bad planning or what, LOL?!!! He's such a little cutie, with bags of personality, that I thought this Kraftin Kimmie image would suit him perfectly. It's not my ideal card, but I wanted to make it fun & hope he likes his big glittered 6. The papers, BTW are old Basic Grey - Oh Baby Boy.

I used the lovely sketch at Totally Gorjuss this week for my layout & would also like to  enter my card at Cute card Thursday, where the theme is 'It's only a number'.

Sweet as Apple Pie!

I fancied doing something a bit brighter, so I got my Promarkers out for this Kraftin Kimmie cutie. I love her gorgeous hair & fabulous dress!

The challenge at Crafty Emma's Store this week is Bold & Bright & with this in mind I dug out my Sugar Rush papers from Basic Grey

The layout is based on this week's fab sketch at Cute Card Thursday.

Not much else to tell you about this card really, what a bore I am!!! Is everyone having a good week so far? Put it this way, I need to retire! I'm going to have to start doing the lottery on Wednesdays as well as Saturdays, that's the only way I can make it happen!

Anyway, enough whinging. At least I've got my crafting to keep me sane & all the lovely people out there who provide such fabulous inspiration, :~)
