Passion For Promarkers DT

Good Morning! Time for another challenge at Passion For Promarkers. This week it's my lovely D-Teamie, Eileen's turn to choose our theme & she wants to see

CARDS FROM AROUND THE WORLD

I used this gorgeous Geisha, called Green Lady from A Day For Daisies. She's so demure & beautiful. I kept it all quite simple with Basic Grey Kioshi & used Doo Hickey dies for the flower & a Marianne die for the leaves(?).

I hope you'll now check out the wondeful creations of my fellow D-Teamies on the Passion For Promarkers blog. We are sponsored, this week, by Clearly Besotted Stamps who are offering the 'Going Places' stamp set as this week's fab prize.

clearly besotted stamps

I am entering this at Simon Says Stamp where their challenge is 'A bit of Green'. As long as that's all they need. My card isn't quite suitable for St Patricks Day, LOL!

At Stamptacular Sunday, the theme is 'To Die For' so I am also entering this there.

Well that's all for me for now. I've taken the day off today to crack on withthe decorating. This is just taking forever! I part because we've been away so much of late at the weekends recently. I keep reminding myself that it will lok fab when it is finished though. Sometime in 2015 at this rate, LOL!

Have a great week. Thaks so much for looking.

Passion For Promarkers DT

Here's my card for the Passion For Promarkers challenge this week. I was a little late finishing it & then forgot to blog it! My fabulous D-Teamie, Pinky has chosen our theme this week which is

ADD SPARKLE

This Canary Love from Saurated Canary. I have to stop myself making every card an SC card at the moment, I just love all the images. It's the hair! The papers are Glitz - Pretty in Pink. I don't use the darker pink shades of my Promarkers very often, but I luuurve the colours in this. It's a shame the photo is so lousey, the colours are so much nicer IRL.

If you haven't already checked them out, hop on over to the Passion For Promarkers blog to see the awesome creations of my fellow D-Teamies. ucha fun challenge. Who doesn't love a bit of sparkle?

I used sketch #55 from Dawny's fab selection at Papertake Weekly for my layout. So I would like to enter this there.

At Simon Says Stamp, Anything Goes.

Well that's all from me for now. Hope you're all keeping warm & well out there, & not getting blown away in these winds we've got at the moment.

Thanks so much for looking,

At Passion For Promarkers our theme reflects the new year & it is NEW BEGINNINGS.

I'm using one of my Xmas pressies on this card (Thank You so much!). Friends of ours are expecting a little boy at the end of Jan. This was the perfect opportunity to get prepared. Check the being organised part of my New Year's resolutions. It's going well so far! This is a LOTV image coloured with Promarkers. The embossed stamp came with my long since departed, Cuttlebug & the stars are die cuts covered in Beadazzles.

At ABC Challenge we have 2 fab sponsors. First off Stamp & Create are most generously offering a $25 voucher to spend at their store.

Our second sponsor is The Pretty Little Ribbon Shop who are offering this gorgeous selection of goodies.

Good Morning! Finally got my ABC Challenge DT card uploaded. Grrr the problems I had with blogger & storgae space. Don't get me started, it actually all very dull but annoying nonetheless!! Anyhoo, back to my card. If you haven't already seen, our theme this week is

C for CLEAR IT OUT

The Stamp Fairy kindly gave us images to play with. When I saw this one I knew straight away which papers I wanted to use. I've had these MME Wonderful Winter papers for the best part of 2 years now I think, & they never get a look in.

Our sponsor this week is The Stamp Fairy. Our lucky winner will receive a £10 voucher to spend at their store.

Pop on over to the ABC Challenge blog to see the fabulous inspiration of my fellow D-Teamies.

I am also entering this at Stamp With Fun where the Challenge is 'Winter'.

Divas By Design DT

Good Morning to you. My, how quickly the weeks are passing! Xmas will be here before you know it. With that in mind, I've made a Xmas card for my DT card for this week's Divas By Design challenge. Our theme for you this time is to use

TEXTURE

I have used one of the new digis from Sugar Nellie & coloured him with Prismas. The papers are Tinsel by Memory Box & the sentiment is from LOTV. The snowflake was created with a Spellbinders die. I also used an embossing folder on the kraft to add texture & I'd hoped to add some cheesecloth, but it did not arrive in time :~(

I hope you'll now pop on over to the Divas By Design blog to see the fabulous inspiration of my fellow D-Teamies. Play along with us this week & you could win a voucher to spend at the wonderful Joanna Sheen online store.

I am also entering this at the Sugar Bowl where I have used their fab sketch for my layout.

At Papertake Weekly they are celebrating their 5th birthday with an 'Anything Goes' challenge. Happy Birthday ladies.

'Anything Goes' at Simon Says Stamp too.

At Totally Gorjuss they want to see cards using punches or dies.

So it looks like Autumn is well & truly upon us. I hope we get some dry weather soon so we can get out & enjoy it. There is no fun in trudging through soggy leaves. I like to kick through crisp dry ones. Guess I'm still a kid at heart!

Thanks so much for looking. Enjoy the rest of your week.

Big Hugs,
Andie xx

Secret Crafter's Saturday Challenge DT

Thank Goodness for the weekend, Hurrah! Time for another fab challenge at Secret Crafter's Saturday Challenge. This week, lovely Helen has chosen a most appropriate theme, given we are in the grip of Olympic fever,

GOLD, SILVER OR BRONZE

This seemed like a perfect opportunity to get another Xmas card under my belt. How cute is this new LOTV stamp. He's called 'Delivering the Presents'. I coloured him with Distress Inks & the papers are Memory Box. The snowflake is a Marianne die.

This week we welcome back our regular sponsor, The Digi Doodle Shop.

I hope you'll now pop on over to the Secret Crafter's blog to see the fabulous creations of my fellow D-Teamies.

I'm hoping there's enough 'Sparkle & Shine' to qualify this for entry at Bearly Mine Designs challenge.

At 'Papertake Weekly' & Creative Inspirations, 'Anything Goes' this week.

I'm also joining in the Bingo at Simon Says Stamp, where I've used gems & the gold lace.

So there you go! I have to admit that everything is playing second fiddle to the Olympics at the moment. OMG, it's just fabulous. Lots of amazing sporting action. All the participants are fantastic, but Team GB are all doing us proud. It's been such a success. What am I going to do when it's all over? Well the Premiership starts again next weekend. That will have to do. Come on the Toffees!

I also have to thank the lovely ladies at The Craft Barn. I won a £10 voucher to spend there at Sketch Saturday last week. It took me ages to decide what to spend it on, given the wealth of fabulous goodies available at their online store.

Whatever you are up to this weekend. Enjoy the last of the Olympics & the good weather. Thanks so much for looking.

Secret Crafter's Saturday Challenge DT

Good Morning Peeps! Apologies for posting this a little late. I'm at my paprents house at the mo & have had a few issues with internet access. Anyhoo, onto our new challenge at Secret Crafter's Saturday Challenge this week, where the wonderful Francesca has chosen our theme of

BRIGHT & CHEERFUL

I had a blast colouring this Saturated Canary beauty & kind of confused 'cheerful' with colourful, but I think that's OK! She's coloured with Promarkers & the papers are Basic Grey - Sugar Rush. The flower was created with a Spellbinders die.

I hope you'll hop on over to the Secret Crafter's blog to see the fabulous inspiration of my fellow D-Teamies. Looks like they had fun with this challenge too. This week our lucky winner will get a $15 voucher to spend at Heather's Hobbie Haven's lovely online store.

I would also like to enter this at Crafting Life's Pieces where I used their fab sketch for my layout.

At Simon Says Stamp, 'Anything Goes'.

So there you go. Did anyone else manage to sit through the Olympics opening ceremony last night. It did look fantastic on TV, especially the Daniel Craig part!! Here's hoping Mark Cavendish can win gold today. Not sure I will be watching the 6 & a half hour road race in it's entirety, but I'll certainly be willing him to victory!

That's all for now though. Thanks so much for looking. Have a great weekend.

Big Hugs,
Andie xx

Secret Crafter's Saturday Challenge DT

Welcome to the weekend! Time for another challenge at Secret Crafter's Saturday Challenge. This week, gorgeous Bridget has chosen out theme. She wants to see cards that are inspired by
OLYMPICS or SPORTY

My son Jack, had to do a project about the
Olympics & it's history last term. The ancient Olympics & the torch lighting ceremony inpired my card. I used Aphrodite from Tickled Pink. She's coloured with Promarkers & the papers are Prima - Natures Garden.

The light was poor when I took these photos. Her hair is not so orange IRL!

I hope you'll now pop on over to the Secret Crafter's blog to see the fab inspiration of my fellow D-Teamies. We're sponsored, this week, by The Stamping Boutique who are offering our lucky winner 3 digis from their online shop.

I am also entering this at Simon Says Stamp, where I uused their fab sketch for my layout.

Have you heard? the weather is supposed tobe nice this weekend, hot even & the sun is shining. Whatever you are up to I hope you are able to make the most of it. I'll probably gardening. With a ll this rain the back garden has gotten a bit out of hand! It looks terrible, I don't know where to start. So that's where I'll be anyway!

Whatever you are up to. Have a great weekend.
Thanks so much for looking.

Secret Crafter's Saturday Challenge DT

Hurrah for my favourite day of the week! Time for another fab challenge at Secret Crafter's Saturday Challenge. Gorgeous Bridget has chosen our theme this week. We want your creations to be

CUTE 'N' FLUFFY

I used this super cute Potting Shed image from LOTV. It was going to be a more feminine card, but once coloured I went for a masculine look.  In the end, I'm not really sure which way this swings. So I left the embellishment rather sparse until I decide who I''m going to give this to. The papers are by We R Memory Keepers & were a freebie with a magazine.

I hope you'll now check out the wonderful creations of my awesome D-Teamies at the Secret Crafter's blog. We are sponsored this week by Heather's Hobby Haven. Our lucky winner will receive a $15 voucher to spend on all the goodies there!

I am also entering this at Papertake Weekly when Dawnie has created another fab sketch, which I used for my layout.

At Creative Inspirations & Simon Says Stamp this week, 'Anything Goes'.

At Cute Card Thursday, the theme is 'Animal Magic'

So has anyone got anything exciting planned for the weekend? Just a quiet one for me & the boys whilst Paul's off largin' it on a friend's stag do in Leeds. He'll come back on Sunday complaining about feeling 'broken' no doubt, & these days it takes him a few days to recover! I'm not sure how long it takes me as I never get the chance to test my stamina, LOL!

Whatever you are up to. I hope you have great weekend.

Thanks so much for looking.

Secret Crafter's Saturday Challenge DT

Goodness, I'm late again, but hopefully now things have settled down & normal service can be resumed. This is my card for the new challenge at Secret Crafter's, where lovely Tracie has set our theme for this week. She wants to see you getting in shape for Spring & create

SHAPED CARDS

I struggle with shaped cards as I don't have any large dies that are suitable, so I compromised with a step card & I cut the image with a Spellbinders die. This little sweetie is from the new Bildmalarna release, she's just adorable. She's coloured with Prismas & I added a sentiment from Tina Wenke for Stampavie.

If you haven't already been, get yourself on over to the Secret Crafter's Saturday Challenge blog to see the fab creations of my fellow D-Teamies. This week we're thrilled to have Lili of the Valley as our sponsor & our lucky winner will get a £10 voucher to spend there. Have you seen their new release. They're all just fabulous. I can't wait to get mine inked up!

I am entering this at Simon Says Stamp, where this week, Anything Goes.

So it's looking like another lovely day here in Manchester. We're taking the boys to Clitheroe today to stay with my Mum & Dad for the Easter hols while Paul & I have to work :#( But the boys love it & are soooooo excited! Right now they've gotten so giddy & noisy I can't wait to take them, but I know I'll miss them so much till we go back to Clitheroe on Friday.

Well there we go for now. Thanks so much for looking. Whatever you are up to, enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Thanks so much for looking.

Sketch & Stash DT

Good Morning one & All! Are you ready to face a new week? Here's something to brighten your day. It's time for another new sketch at Sketch N Stash.

Apologies for the quality of these photos. Can't wait for the clock to go forward & I'll be less dependent on artificial light. Somehow, I missed this gorgeous Tilda in the Christmas release & I just had to get her. She's coloured with Prismas & is such a cutie. My papers are K & Co - Julianne & the slightly wonky sentiment is by Tina Wenke for Stampavie.

So here's our fab sketch, designed, for your delectation, by the marvellous, Michelle.

Michelle is also, very generously, sponsoring our challenge this week so I hope you'll play along with us to be in with a chance of winning this fab prize.

I am also entering this at Just Magnolia where the theme is Blue & White.

At Simon Says Stamp, they want to see Mother's Day/Special Girl cards.

Well, that's all from me. Thanks so much for looking. Have a great week.

Secret Crafter's Saturday Challenge -

It seems like forever since my last post, a whole week!! But it's time for another Secret Crafter's Saturday Challenge again, so I have something new to show you. This week our theme is chosen by the fabulous Franz, who wants to see you using,

RIBBONS

I coloured this cute little Nellie Snellen sweetie with my Prismas & used Memory Box dies for the heart border & the corners. The butterfly I picked up at the Manchester Stitch & Creative Crafts show last year. I entirely forgot I had it.

I used the fab sketch at Crafting Life's Pieces this month for my layout.

At Creative Card Crew & Simon Says Stamp this week, 'Anything Goes'

So I hope you'll now pop on over to the Secret Crafter's Saturday Challenge to see the awesome inspiration of my wonderful D-Teamies. This week we're sponsored by Heather's Hobby Haven who are offering our lucky winner a $15 voucher to spend in their store. There is loads of fab stash there to get your mits on!

Our Sponsor

So has anyone got anything fun planned for this weekend? Jack is off to a party this evening at the Trafford Centre & I plan to have a good shop while I wait for him. That hour of me time may well turn out to be the highlight of my weekend, LOL!!

Sketch & Stash #79

Happy Monday everyone. Time for another fab sketch challenge at Sketch & Stash. This week my uber-fab D-Teamie, Julie, has created another wonderful sketch for you to follow.

I love this cute little Gorjuss girl. She's coloured with my new love, Prismas & the papers are MME - So Sophie, Graceful, which I also love. Lots of love going on there!

I don't often make cards without a full backing paper & frame. But in this case, it just looked right. I would also have centred the image in front of the circle as per the sketch, but I couldn't find a big enough circle that didn't swamp the card. I should have chosen a smaller image perhaps. I don't like taking liberties like this with a sketch, but it was either this or ending up with a card I just would not have been happy with.

I am also entering this Simon Says Stamp, where the challenge is 'Spots &/or Stripes'.

I hope you'll now pop on over to the Sketch N Stash blog to see the fabulous creations of my wonderful D-Teamies. We are sponsored this week by My Mum's Craft Shop. Our lucky winner will get a £10 voucher to spend there.

Finally I have to ask. Did anyone watch the last episode of Sherlock? Is there going to be another series? There just has to be. I so annoyed, we are only half way through January & one of my favourite programmes has already finished. Anyway, Mad Dogs, with 3 more of my favourite actors, starts on Thursday so I guess I'll get over it fairly quickly.

Hope everyone is happy & well. Thanks so much for looking.
Big Hugs,
Andie xx

Creative Card Crew - Snowy Day!

Given that I never make enough Xmas cards for everyone I want to make them for I thought I'd get a head start on my Xmas cards this year, LOL! I still have lots of stamps I did not have chance to ink up in time for this Xmas, I think that means I might have too many, but I think I'll ignore that thought for now!! Anyhoo on to the new challenge at Creative Card Crew where our theme this fortnight is

ONE SNOWY DAY

I used one of my favourite Whiff of Joy stamps, Charlie Building Snowman. He's coloured with Distress Inks & the Papers are Echo Park. The sentiment is by Whimsy Stamps.

We are thrilled to be sponsored this fortnight by the lovely people at Simon Says Stamp. So I hope you'll play along for a chance to win.

SimonSaysStampBlinkie1[1]

I based my layout on this week's fab sketch at Sketch Saturday so I am entering my card there.

Back to work for me today :~(  Thanks so much for looking.

Big Hugs,
Andie xx
