Passion For Promarkers DT

Good Morning! Time for another challenge at Passion For Promarkers. This week it's my lovely D-Teamie, Eileen's turn to choose our theme & she wants to see

CARDS FROM AROUND THE WORLD

I used this gorgeous Geisha, called Green Lady from A Day For Daisies. She's so demure & beautiful. I kept it all quite simple with Basic Grey Kioshi & used Doo Hickey dies for the flower & a Marianne die for the leaves(?).

I hope you'll now check out the wondeful creations of my fellow D-Teamies on the Passion For Promarkers blog. We are sponsored, this week, by Clearly Besotted Stamps who are offering the 'Going Places' stamp set as this week's fab prize.

clearly besotted stamps

I am entering this at Simon Says Stamp where their challenge is 'A bit of Green'. As long as that's all they need. My card isn't quite suitable for St Patricks Day, LOL!

At Stamptacular Sunday, the theme is 'To Die For' so I am also entering this there.

Well that's all for me for now. I've taken the day off today to crack on withthe decorating. This is just taking forever! I part because we've been away so much of late at the weekends recently. I keep reminding myself that it will lok fab when it is finished though. Sometime in 2015 at this rate, LOL!

Have a great week. Thaks so much for looking.

Good Morning! Wednesday once more which means it's time for another fab challenge at Divas By Design. It's a nice easy one for you this week,

The DT were very generously allowed to use an image from our sponsor, Tiddly Inks. Hog Heaven for me because I just love all Christy's images. This one is from her new Anna Belle range called Fluttering By to say Hi. So cute!! She's coloured with Prismas & the papers are Basic Grey - Sugar Rush.

I hope you'll now pop on over to the Divas By Design blog to see the gorgeous creations of my fellow D-Teamies. Play along with us this week & you could win some fabulous candy from Tiddly Inks.

I am also entering this at the Tiddly Inks challenge, where the theme is Summertime.

At Stamptacular Sunday, they are saying 'Let's Hear for the Girls'.

At Basic Grey Challenges Anything Goes.

So there you go. Thanks so much for looking.

Secret Crafter's Saturday Challenge DT

Good Morning & welcome! Rather belatedly I am posting my DT card for Secret Crafter's Saturday Challenge. This week or wonderful blog leader, Jane has chosen the theme of

CIRCLE CARDS

Now I have to be honest circle cards aren't really my thing. It's not that I don't like them, but I'm just not very good at them & as a result lack much inclination or inspiration to create them. However, I'm quite pleased with the way this turned out & it looks even better IRL. The image is LOTV from the new Xmas release & is coloured with Distress Inks. The papers are Fancy Pants - Winterland & I cut the poinsetta with a Doo Hickey.

My fellow D-Teamies have made some fabulous cards for inspiration at the Secret Crafter's blog. Play along with us this week & you could win a choice of 3 digis from The Stamping Boutique who are our generous sponsors this week.

I am also entering this at Stamptacular Sunday, where the them is 'Shape it Up'.

So there you go. That's all from me for now. Thanks so much for looking. Have a lovely weekend. I'm off to help hubby strip all the wallpaper off in the lounge so we can ge the plasterers in!

Sketch N Stash DT

Happy Monday! Time for another challenge at Sketch N Stash. This time it's the fabulous Doreen's turn to design our sketch.

I used Lemon Pepper from the Whimsy Little Cottage Cuties range. She's so gorgeous & definitely my favourite from the range. I coloured her with Prismas. The papers are K & Co Julianna. I went for a distressed look on this one & love how she turned out

I hope you'll now pop on over to the Sketch N Stash blog to see the fabulous creations of my fellow D-Teamies. This is wonderful sketch Doreen designed for your inspiration.

I would also like to enter this at Stamptacular Sunday where the challenge is loaded with layers. I hope there are enough to qualify!

So that's all from me for now. I hope you are all ready for the new week ahead. Have a great week, whatever you are up to. Is it not the weekend yet?!!

Thanks so much for looking.

Divas By Design DT

Good Morning. I've finally found time to show you my creation for this week's Divas By Design this week where our challenge is

ANYTHING BUT A CARD

I made a little chocolate box. I took ages. By the time I worked out my measurements. After a lot of trial & error, I then ran out of paper & had to be quite creative, sticking bits together with what I did have left.

The image is from our sponsor, Crafts & Me & she's coloured with Prismas, with a little glitter on her wings. The papers are gorgeous Prima Fairy Belle. I also used a Doo Hickey die.

I hope you'll now pop on over to the Divas By Design blog, if you haven't already done so to see the fabulous creations of my fellow D-Teamies. We are sponsored by Crafts & Me who are offering our lucky winner 6 gorgeous digis.

I am also entering this at Stamptacular Sunday, where they are having a 'Freebie Week'.

I also used the fab sketch at Crafting Life's Pieces, though I just realised I did not add a sentiment so I hope it still counts.

So that's all from me for now.

Thanks so much for looking.

Creative Card Crew - Fantasy

Hurrah for Tuesday & it's time for another fab challenge at Creative Card Crew where our theme this week is

FANTASY

Our fabulous sponsor this week is Michelle Perkett & she has generously given the DT some fab images to play around with. This is 'Forest Fairy' who also comes with a lovely sentiment that I couldn't comfortably fit on my card. She's coloured with Prismas & my papers are Prima Fairy Flora

I've never coloured a Michelle Perkett image before & I have to say I love this one. She's a change from a lot of the cutsy images I usually go for. But this image is beautiful. Check out all the other gorgeous images available at Michelle's etsy store here. Play along with us this week & you could win some fab digis.
oceana_logo[1][1]

I used the lovely sketch at  Stamp With Fun for my layout for this card.

At Cute Card Thursday, the theme is 'You're a Gem' & at Stamptacular Sunday they want you to use diamonds or pearls. Mine are more like amethysts, so I hope that's OK!

So now I hope you'll pop on over to the Creative Card Crew blog to see the awesome inspiration of my fellow D-Teamies.

Thanks so much for looking.

Divas By Gesign - Big News!

OMG I'm so excited to be sharing this card with you today! I'm thrilled to say I have been invited, by the gorgeous & uber talented Rebekah, to join the Divas By Design DT - Whoop Whoop!! This weeks theme is a nice easy one that will run for 4 weeks. We wish you

A MERRY CHRISTMAS!

I  made this book card for my boss at work. She loves reading. I just need to add a sentiment that reads 'A Christmas Carol' to complete it, but my printer is broken. The papers are Basic Grey - Wassail. The poinsetta was created with a Doo Hickey with Diamond Dust, & the labels over the spine are made with a Spellbinder die. Unfortunately the Memory Box Frostyville border does not stand out so well against the holly paper.

I love this LOTV Carol Singers stamp. It's coloured with Distress Inks, with a little Glamour Dust on the fur & snow.

I'm going to get the rest of the team to sign the inside cover & fill the box part with chocolates.

I am also entering this card at Stamptacular Sunday, where theme theme is 'Christmas Glitz'. I hope the Glamour Dust, Diamond Dust & adhesive gems are enough to qualify.

At Papertake Weekly they want you to use your favourite Christmas colours. I'm a bit of a traditionalist when it comes to this. I've gone for red & green.
I hope you'll now hop on over to the Divas By Design blog to see the stunning cards of my new fellow D-Teamies. We are proud to be sponsored for this challenge by Stitchy Bear Stamps & Delicious Doodles.

Hope everyone out there is happy & well & gearing up for the Xmas season!

Thanks so much for looking,

Secret Crafter's Saturday Challenge - Photo Inspiration

It always feels good to make it to the weekend! This one is no exception, not least beacause it's time for another challenge at Secret Crafter's Saturday Challenge. It my wonderful D-Teamie, Kate's turn to choose our theme. She wants you to be inspired by a photo this week, which you can find here.

I'm afraid you'll have to indulge me here. I was quite pleased with how this turned out so I took several photos! This is Tilda with Heart-shaped snowball, with Magnolia winter forest & winter scene. I coloured it all with Distress Inks. The papers are MME.

I love this little cutie, she's just adorable. I used silicone glue to 3D to make her stand off the page.

I used Polar White Flower Soft on the snow for a bit of fun & the snowflake is a Marianne Design die.

Now I have to give credit where credit is due. I never set out to case the card on the front of the last Magnolia magazine. But after I finished it I noticed a big similarity. So I should credit Tab with a lot of the inspiration for this card. Her work is just awesome & you should check it out.

I hope you'll now check out the fabulous creations of my fellow D-Teamies at the Secret Crafter's blog.

I also want to enter this card at several challenges this week. At Just Magnolia & hAnglar & sTanglar, 'Anything Goes' with a touch of sparkle. 'Anything Goes' at Simon Says Stamp.

At Stamptacular Sunday, the theme is 'Anything Christmas'.

At Deep Ocean Challenge, they want to see cards inspired by the letter 'C'. Mine is C for Christmas of course!

My this has been a long one today. If you've stuck with me this long, thanks so much for bearinf with me. I'm off to the cinema this morning with the boys. Then I hope to get lots of crafting done later. Hope you all have a great weekend, whatever you are up to.

Thanks so much for looking.

Passion For Promarkers - White on White

It's Tuesday & time for another fab challenge at Passion For Promarkers. This week or theme is chosen by my wonderful D-Teamie, Debs. She wants to see cards that are

WHITE ON WHITE

This is my favourite Whiff of Joy stamp. She's gorgeous & I love colouring skirts with lots of material, so I always have a field day with this! I can't remember doing a WOW card before & I really enjoyed this. The poinsetta was made with a Doo Hickey smothered in Diamond Dust. The foliage was cut from a Tim Holtz Alterations strip die & the snowflakes are from a Martha Stewart border punch.

It's been ages since I last entered the Whiff of Joy challenge, but the current theme there is, 'Let it Snow'.

At Stamptacular Sunday the challenge is 'Punch It'. I did use a punch, but fortunately dies are allowable too.

We are happy to be sponsored again this week by Some Odd Girl who are offering our lucky winner a choice of 3 of their fab digi images.

some odd girl new logo

I hope you'll pop on over to the Passion For Promarkers blog to see the awesome inspiration of my wonderfiul D-teamies.

It's my lovely hubbie's birthday today & we've got the day off while the boy have to go to school, Yippee!! He wants to see the Rum Diaries & have lunch at the Trafford Centre. However, we're both feeling really ropey, so we'll have to see what we can manage.

Hope everyone else is feeling better than me. Thanks so much for looking.

Passion For promarkers & Creative Card Crew DT Double Header

Happy Tuesday one & all! I have 2 cards to show you again today. My first comes with some happy news. I have been asked to join the Creative Card Crew DT & this is my first card for them. Yippee!! Our challenge for you this week is to

BE THANKFUL

I keep moaning about taking my photos in artificial light. However, when I took my pictures of this card it was bathed in sunlight & it looks just as bad!! The Prima Botanical papers look really washed out, whereas IRL they match my colouring a lot better, honest!! This is my favourite Tilda, she's coloured with Distress Inks & I used a Heart Swirl Doo Hickey up the side & a Sizzix die in the corner. The flowers were cut with a Spellbinders die.

The Thank You sentiment is a bit big for the card, so I may have to replace it. I don't have many 'Thank You' stamps. I mustn't say it often enough!! For
this card I used the lovely layout at Sketch Saturday
so I would also like to enter my crad there.

We are sponsored by Simon Says Stamp this fortnight. Our lucky winner can win a fab voucher to spend at their store.

SimonSaysStampBlinkie1[1]

So now please hop on over to the Creative Card Crew blog to see the wonderful creations of my new & fabulous D-Teamies & give them some love :~)

However, before you do I just want to show you my other DT card today for Passion For Promarkers. My gorgeous D-Teamie, Julie has chosen this week's challenge to use

KRAFT & 1 OTHER COLOUR

This is one of my favourite snowmen images. I don't have many, but I just love this Kraftin Kimmie snowman. The papers are MME & I overstamped the Kraft background with a massive snowflake stamp I won along with the big acrylic block to stamp it with at Sketch Saturday. You have to squint quite closely to see it because the ink isn't very good, but it's by Impression Obsession from the Craft Barn. I love it!! It's brilliant & there are a whole host of other background stamps I need to save up for!

For this sketch I used the great layout at Stamptacular Sunday.

We also have a wonderful prize at Passion For Promarkers, where we are sponsored by Some Odd Girl who will give the winner their choice of 3 of their wonderful digis.

some odd girl new logo

My awesome D-Teamies at Passion For Promakers have been excelling themselves again & you need to check out the PFP blog to see what they have been up to.

Oooooh dilemma where to go first? CCC or PFP. Why not both & if you can combine the 2 even! I leave it up to you.

So for now, that's it from me. I just want to thank you so much for looking.

Papertake Weekly & Passion For Promarkers Double Header!

Good Morning to you & a Happy Tuesday one & all. Buckle your seat belts, I've got a long old post to get through today as I have 2 cards to show you. The first is my GDT card for Papertake Weekly where we want to see cards with

3 DIFFERENT SHAPES
( one can be the card base)

I used this super cutie from the Fairy Glen Xmas release at Sugar Nellie. She's coloured with Distress Inks & the papers are MME Holly Jolly, or is it Jolly Holly?! Of course there is the mandatory glitter every fairy must have, including Glamour Dust on her fur trim & Crackle Glaze sprinkled with pink glitter on her wings. The snowflake was cut with a Spellbinders die & the sentimnet is LOTV.

I love how she turned out & had fun distressing her, which I haven't done for a while. The layout follows the sketch at the current Sugar Bowl challenge.

At Truly Scrumptious the theme is Distressing, as it is at Stamptacular Sunday, so I am entering this card there.

On to my second card of the day. It's my offering for the Passion For Promarkers challenge, where this week the theme was set by my good self & it is,

CHRISTMAS CRITTERS
(ie. Xmas cards with animals on)

I used Christmas Bunnies - Post from last years LOTV Xmas release. It's a shame I couldn't take the photo in daylight as I always hate the radioactive glow they give out in artificial light! The papers are MME. It's hard to see the pattern on the red paper, but it has a lovely self coloured glittery snowflakes. Again with the Glamour Dust on the fur trim & on the snow I used Frosty Lace Stickles. The snowflake is a Martha Stewart punch.

This layout is based on the sketch at Sketch Saturday this week.
I am also entering it at Lili of the Valley where the theme is 'Let it Snow'.

So I hope you now pop on over to see the fabulous creations of my fellow D-Teamies at both Papertake Weekly & Passion For Promarkers. They are all awesome. Play along & you could also win a fabulous prize :~)

***EDITED: LOTV Blog Candy Winner from the Papertake Weekly Blog Hop is

Congratulations!!
E-mail me with your details & I will get you stamp in the post to you :~)

Here are my boys, Jack (the big one) & Ben picking Lisa's name out of the hat. Sorry about the quality of the photos, they soon got over their initial excitement & wouldn't pose for a better one! As you can see Ben has been taking tips from Paul McCartney on how to pose for photos; does he ever have a picture taken without giving a thumbs up!!

Thanks so much for looking,

Secret Crafters - Holidays!

I'm doing a happy dance for the weekend! Even though it's raining, I'm not at work, so it's not all bad, LOL!!! Even better news is that it's time for another Secret Crafters Challenge, set this week by lovely Helen. She has chosen a theme of

HOLIDAYS

This Kraftin Kimmie stamp is called Florence & I think she's fab!. I coloured her with Distress Inks & the papers are MME. I wanted to keep ths really simple, just added a heart shaped connecter from Crafty Emmas
, ribbon & the adhesive pearls.

When I asked my boys, independently of one another who Florence reminded them of, they both said my sister - WRONG answer!!! At least not the one I was hoping for. They both said my hair was a lot curlier & then darling hubby chipped in with '& greyer'! Do you see what I have to put up with?!!!

Oh well! I hope you'll now pop on over to the Secret Crafters blog to see the fab creations of my awesome D-Teamies! Before you go these are the challenges I am entering with this card.

At Papertake Weekly, things are getting Hot, Hot, Hot! And at Bunny Zoes, the theme is 'Fun in the Sun'.

At Creative Inspirations, there's 'No Flowers Allowed'.

Big waves to my old D-Teamies at Crafts 4 Eternity. They have a 3-2-1 challenge this week. I've used 3 adhesive pearls, 2 design papers & 1 charm.

Bearly Mine Designs & Simon Says Stamp - Anything Goes

Finally, one of my favourite challenges that I don't enter very often is Stamptacular Sunday. I have based my card on their fab sketch this week. I tried to make the top & bottom layers represent the sun/sky & the sand.

So there you go. Thanks so much for looking.

Crafts 4 Eternity - Anything Goes!

What a fabulous day it has been. I'm not a royalist but the wonderful wedding of William & Kate has brought the country, & beyond together in celebration & it's fantastic! I have to apologise for not posting this earlier, but I got caught up in wedding fervour today, more than I anticipated.

Anyways, here is my DT card fro Crafts 4 Eternity, where our challenge this week is 'Anything Goes!' I've been dying to ink up this Simply Sassy image for ages & couldn't leave her in the packet any longer! I'm jealous of how gorgeous her hair is!

She's coloured with Distress Inks & the papers & from the divine Prima Botanicals pad. I went a bit overboard with the Viva Glitter Liner, can you tell?!! The flower was made with EK Success retro flower punches & the swirl is a Magnolia Doo Hickeys die.

I hope you'll now pop on over to the Crafts 4 Eternity blog & check out the fabuklous cards of my lovely D-Teamies. No excuses for not joining in this week!

I based my card on this week's sketch at Papertake Weekly, so I am entering my card there.

Cute Card Thursday are also challenging you to use any sketch this week.

At Simon Says Stamp, 'Anything Goes' as they celebrate their 2nd anniversary!

Finally, at Stamptacular Sunday the challenge is to 'Pile it On' & use 5 or more layers. Mine total 5, including the image.

So there you go. I hope everyone has had a lovely day, whatever you have been up to. Thanks so much for looking.

Big Hugs,

Crafts 4 Eternity-Embellishment Challenge

I don't know where the weeks go! It does not seem 2 minutes since my last post & I'm already late with this one. Actually I did quite a bit of trial & error, more so than usual!! Can I just say, don't bother trying to Glimmer Mist a feather!

Anyway, on to our challenge this week. If you haven't already seen it at the C4E blog, this week it is an embellishemnt challenge & we want you to use the following items on your card:-
1 A feather
2. A doily
3. A charm

I used a Sugar Nellie Simply Sassy girl that I have reached for on a number of occasions but never actually ended up using. Finally she's been inked up & I just love her. I coloured her with Distress Inks & cut her out with a Nesties die. I also distressed the doily & the feather a little to tone down how white they were. The swirl is a Magnolia die cut I finally bit the bullet & treated myself too from Bunny Zoe's where I also got the bird charm. The papers are Kaisercraft-Secret Bird Society

This week's prize at C4E is this adorable digi, generously donated by my lovely D-Teamie Suzette who owns, Crafty Sentiments. Isn't he adorable?! Pop on over to the C4E blog to see more inspiration from my wonderful  D-Teamies.

I'm also entering this card at Stamptacular Sunday, wher ehte challenge is 'Girls & Swirls'. Also at Totally Gorjuss the challenge is 'Fluffy'. I don't know if birds count as fluffy, but my feather certainly is!

Well that's all for now. Thanks so much for looking. I'll be back in a few hours time, with My Secret Crafter's card!

Passion For Promarkers - Distressed!

Happy Tuesday one & all! Time for another fab challenge at Passion for Promarkers. This week my lovely & uber talented D-Teamie, Sue has chosen the theme. She wants your creations to be distressed  or have a shabby chic look. This week's lucky winner will win a £10 gift voucher to spend on the fab goodies available at our sponsor, Joanna Sheen.

My card this week uses, what may just turn out to be, my all time favourite Tilda. At least up to this point! She's Tilda in the Autumn Leaves from the new Aples & Cherries collection. I love how happy she looks & how much fun she is having! I'd like to see more happy Tildas (& Edwins!). She is coloured with Aqua Markers to go with the distressed look.

The DPs are two sides of the same sheet from the Fly a Kite range from October Afternoon. Perfect for the Autumnal feel of the image.

I've been playing about with 3D lately & used it on this image to try & give my image a bit more movement. I cut Tilda out & glued her body to the paper, but used silicone glue to raise her arms, legs & head to varying degrees. I also used it on some of the leaves. It is hard to see it in the photo, but you getter a better idea side on. IRL, I'm really pleased with the effect, but man, what a pain cutting out those little leaves!

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts & the leaves around the flowers were cut from a Creatables die. I added adhesive gems too for a little sparkle.

The layout is based on the fab sketch at this week's Just Magnolia challenge.
Stamp Something want to see cards with 'Fall' colours, as do Stamptacular Sunday with their 'Season's Change' challenge.
So I would also like to enter my card for these challenges.

Thanks so much for looking,

Big Hugs,
Andie xx
